Episode Information

"Forks and Knives Out" is the thirty-sixth episode of the sixth season, and the two-hundred-eighty-second episode of The Loud House.

Plot[]

Lynn Sr. is stoked to compete on a televised cooking show until he learns he's up against Rosa Casagrande.

Synopsis[]

In the Loud House, Lincoln and Lynn Sr. are playing a video game together. After Lincoln wins, there's a knock at the door. Lynn Sr. answers it, and discovers a package, whereupon opening it, it's revealed to be a bobblehead of Guy Grazer, saying that he has been invited to compete on his competition show, Kitchen Combat. At that moment, Luan arrives and asks if that's the show where the competitors are tasked with sabotaging their opponents, to which Lynn Sr. agrees. He asks Luan if she wants to be his partner, but Luan says that she's booked for a performance on that day, so Lincoln offers to step in.

The Louds reunite with the Casagrandes.

Later, Lincoln and Lynn Sr. are on Kitchen Combat. After Guy introduces the Louds, he reveals who they're going to be competing against: Rosa Casagrande and Ronnie Anne Santiago. This causes the two teams to run up to each other with open arms and state that because they're friends, they can't compete with them too harshly. Guy then announces that the grand prize is an automated refrigerator, which the two teams find very tempting to win. With that, Guy officially starts the show.

For the first challenge, Guy tells the two teams that they need to make him breakfast and that they need to compete for their ingredients. However, instead of the fierce competition Guy expects from them, the two teams casually converse with each other and settle on which ingredients they want in a civilized manner. Guy attempts to stir up some conflict by pitting the two teams against each other in a challenge involving firing eggs at each other, but once again, the two teams react in a civilized manner, and even manage to improvise and share some light-hearted banter. In an effort to have the two teams be at each other's throats, Guy announces that instead of the grand prize being a new fridge, it will now come with a brand-new kitchen. This causes Lynn Sr. and Rosa to declare that they want it, and proceed to get competitive with each other. Lincoln and Ronnie Anne are initially not persuaded by this, but when Guy reveals that the new kitchen will come with a froyo machine as well, they eventually decide to get competitive as well.

The contenders forfeit, having realized what's more important.

When Guy tells the two teams that he wants them to make dinner, they proceed to act aggressive towards each other when getting ingredients, much to Guy's glee. The competition gets so intense, that Lynn Sr. and Rosa ask their kids to sabotage each other to slow them down. They proceed to do so, but it eventually boils to the point that Lynn Sr. and Rosa decide to end their friendship, and tell their kids to say goodbye to each other forever. Lincoln and Ronnie Anne, realizing that things have gotten way out of hand, ask them if they're really going to end their friendship with each other over a kitchen. Realizing they're right, Lynn Sr. and Rosa apologize to each other and mend their friendship. When Guy tells them that they're supposed to be competing with each other, the two teams, along with Guy's assistant, Matthew, and the cameraman, decide to quit, now realizing that Guy doesn't care about their friendship. Seeing how no one is siding with him, Guy calls them out by saying it's just "me and the dumb refrigerator," only for the insulted fridge to march up to Guy, ready to use its six arms to beat him up in retaliation.
