Renée Kathleen Zellweger is an American actress and producer, who is best known for being the recipient of numerous accolades, including two Oscars, a BAFTA Award, three Golden Globes, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. She is also well-known for her various film roles, such as Dorothy Boyd in the 1996 sports comedy-drama film Jerry Maguire, Ellen Gulden in the 1998 drama film One True Thing, Betty Sizemore in the 2000 black comedy film Nurse Betty, and the titular character of the 2001 adaptation of Bridget Jones's Diary. Additionally, she is known for voicing Angie and Vanessa Bloome in DreamWorks' Shark Tale and Bee Movie (respectively). She was also named Hasty Pudding's Woman of the Year in 2009, and has established herself as one of the highest-paid Hollywood actresses in 2007.
For Disney, she played Roxie Hart in the 2002 Miramax film Chicago. She also appeared in other Miramax films as well as deleted scenes from My Boyfriend's Back, won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in the 2003 period war film Cold Mountain as Ruby Thewes, and portrayed the titular character of the 2019 Fox film Judy, which earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress.
