What I hate most about wikis.

Before you read THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH OASIS. Honestly, I hate when wikis claim that "anyone can edit" them, but the only one really allowed to edit are admins or 'crats. I've seen so many wikis where you try making a page or editing an article, but it's reversed for no good reason. Can someone explain this to me?
