Hey gang!

This Wednesday, February 26th, we are holding an Ask Me Anything session with our CEO, Perkins Miller, on our official Fandom and Gamepedia Discord server for registered users. That’s right. The guy at the top will be taking questions on anything from editors like you!

At Community Connect, we as a company made a number of commitments to our attendees in the closing segment that Brandon and I presented. While the video of that is not yet available (there is a LOT of footage to parse), the final of those commitments was this AMA session.

Perkins Miller joined Fandom just over a year ago as our CEO. Beyond his Fandom experience, he has had a really interesting career that many of you might want to ask him about, including working for the WWE in launching the WWE Network, helping to run the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, working for NBC Sports, working for the NFL, and running ski resorts in Colorado.

That AMA will happen this Wednesday, February 26th at 3:30pm US Eastern Time. It will be a 90 minute session.

To join our Discord server for this event, you must be a registered wiki user in good standing for at least 4 days before the server will accept your verification. Visit this page for more information about the server and account verification. This restriction is to protect this valuable communication channel for editors and staff from trolls and other bad faith users.

We are really excited for this session. Previously, we have held Discord AMAs with Adam Bradford (Co-Founder of D&D Beyond/VP of Tabletop Gaming), Max Spector (Director of Brand Design), and Michael Morgan (Director of User Experience Research), but this will be our biggest one to date. As you may have noticed, we now have an AMA schedule widget in the sidebar here on Community Central, so keep an eye on that as we update our monthly AMA guests.

I’m happy to answer questions people may have about this event in the comments!

This is not the session. Do not submit session questions on this blog.
