For the last few months we've been talking about fluid layout, giving users a chance to try it out, listening to your feedback and fixing bugs. Now it's time to bring this update to everyone! On Wednesday, December 4, fluid layout will be released to all Wikia communities.
Also included with the release are: Fluid editor preview, Special:CSS and the recently-added updates to Theme Designer. We're very excited to bring these improvements to all Wikia users and wrap up the first stage of Project Darwin.

We're also happy to enable fluid layout now, for any community that requests it! An admin can submit a request via Special:Contact and we'll reply when we've made the change to your wikia (probably within 1 business day). Of course, it's also fine to wait until December 4.
After reviewing the Help page and our recommendations, if you'd like assistance preparing your community's design for fluid layout, the Wikia Community team can help you out. Post a request on the forum board we've set up and let us know if you have any specific areas of concern.
