I have thought about this, and really came to one result. You are wasting your energy.

It is ridiculous, see, if you would spend the time on improving your wiki you could invest the time more productive than wasting it here, building up a page called "Anti Wikia Alliance" which is another ridiculous thing. Honestly, if you only saw, how this looks from the outside. "A group of people building up a page which is against the hoster where it's built up on". The fact itself is that ridiculous...

But the more you go into this, you can definitly point out one thing: You do not aim on improving the situation, you are simply fighting against the skin. This is a sign. You never actually tried to work with this skin, you didn't browse it out, just just said: "It's so shitty, give me back monaco".

I will not be viewing this only on one side, of course.

On the other side, there are things users keep on posting about things that they dislike. Most quoted are fixed width, less accessability of things such as special pages and the Wikia header bar on top. The shrinked article (content) space is also another point that has been mentioned. Monitors keep on growing, that's a fact. As well as the fact that social websites are the most popular ones beyond porn websites. Wikia is keen on moving towards a more social profile, it seems like. However, it is still a wiki, even though some things are just stupid I have to agree (image attribution, shrinked article space).

So please, reconsider. Spend your time on useful things, improve your site, meet friends or have fun - and stop wasting all of your energy in hate comments, hate blogs and the Anti Wikia Alliance.
