  • Editors reported a cacheless refresh of the page after reporting a Quick Answer caused no "report issue" or "already reported" text to appear on any of the QAs. We’ve found a solution, and we’re happy to share that this bug is fixed!
  • Editors reported a bug as they received n+1 number of notifications while only n would be visible for Reported Notifications. Within the notification center, editors will see the number of notifications next to the “Fandom” label i…

Hey y’all!

We wanted to provide you with a SPECIAL Technical Updates post this week since we just gave you one last week, and we’ll have another prepared for next Friday with more news and bug fixes. But we couldn’t possibly wait to share this piece of particular news about a major bug fix that we know, from previous comments, has been a top community pain point for you all. So, we wanted to get this news out to you early!

The Mark All As Read button is fixed! Yes, all of the notifications you receive in our Notifications Center can be properly cleared by the click of a button. We couldn’t reproduce this issue at first, but with the community’s help, we were finally able to track down the cause. This bug required a fix in multiple services, …

  • Editors experienced a 500 error when accessing Post History on wikis. We’re happy to announce that this has been fixed.
  • If you edited an existing gallery in VisualEditor, it didn’t recognize the pre-existing content. Once editors added a new image, it created a new gallery under the existing one. The UGC was able to find a solution.
  • User talk page editor had no minimum height, preventing editing on shorter screens. Our UGC Team found a fix and editors can edit th…
