Hey y'all!
I contribute to a wiki called "I Love Writing". Yes, it does sound dorky, but it is pretty fun! Let me explain some stuff, and you might be interested!

What is this wiki really about?
Yeah, the title gives it away. It for people who really, do love writing. You can post stories and all. Have you been writing a book for like, ever? Well, you can share a quick preview. Or even post the whole book! Users around the world will be able to check this story out. And don't worry! Only Admins can edit this page (they are the only ones who have to un-asked permission too), and no one will mess-up your story! Warning: if you are afraid someone is going to copy your story, please do not post it. If not, tell the users that this was your idea, and that no one should take it. You are posting your story at it's own risk.
Comments
If you are looking for help and/or constructive criticism, then go ahead and post your story! I know users love reading other people's story, and we do enjoy helping! People can comment on your story, saying their opinion and saying if they liked it, what they liked, etc. If you do not want these comments though, make sure to tell the users.
Story ratings
Yes, we do have different story types. All are accepted! Like a movie, we do rate our stories. The rating are listed below...
- Safe: Content is generally suitable for all ages. May contain minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence, infrequent use of mild language, and/or minimal suggestive themes.
- Moderate: Content is generally suitable for ages 13 and up. May contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and/or infrequent use of strong language.
- Explicit: Content is generally suitable for ages 17 and up. May contain intense violence, blood and gore, inappropriate content and/or strong language.
This lets the users know what type of content they are reading. So, for users who aren't comfortable with intense violence, inappropriate content, strong language etc, knows that this story isn't suitable for them. Make sure to write it in the beginning of your story, to let people know.
Types of stories
There are story types that are suitable for the wiki. These are...
- .Original Stories: These are completely or mostly original ideas.
- .Fan Fictions: These are completely or mostly someone else's ideas/creation written with your ideas and/or plot lines/characters mixed in.
- .Poems: Poems are allowed here.
- .Song Fics: Stories based off of songs.
Unfortunately, Non-Fiction stories aren't allowed on this wiki.
My side of this wiki:
I love this wiki! It allows me to write quick, short stories, and I am able to share it with the world. People enjoy my stories and I am happy for that. You don't have to write on this wiki, but it allows you to listen to others stories, other voices, and I like that. Some people take stories out of personal beliefs or experiences, and others just write fiction. If you want a place to share stories with the world, or even just go there to listen to others, you are more than welcome to join. You would enjoy it deeply! Go ahead and click on the site!
