Hello Wikians! I am happy to announce, that Wikia is packing up the caravan and heading to Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) April 26 - 28, 2013, where the latest and greatest from the worlds of movies, comics, television, toys, anime, manga and video games will come together for three fun-filled days.

We’re excited to bring Wikia [LIVE] to the stages of C2E2 where our community members will join industry experts and celebrities for some friendly banter and healthy competition around fan favorite pop culture topics. Qwizards, our new geek-culture quiz show, will take the stage on Friday for a live showdown of sci-fi trivia, culminating in a grand finale round on Sunday. (If you want to be a Qwizard, and/or are planning to attend C2E2, you can sign up to be a Qwizards contestant here.)

We’ll be crowning the best dressed costume on Saturday during the Wikia Cosplay Contest, and later that evening our Expert Showcase panel -- consisting of key community members (as well as a surprise celebrity guest or two) -- will join in a rapid-fire moderated discussion on fun pop culture topics.

Are you planning on going to C2E2? Let us know below! We have a lot of great events and activities in the works, and we’d love to include you in our plans.

If a trip to Chicago is not in the works, have no fear! We will be sharing Wikia [LIVE] on a soon-to-be-released dedicated page, on the hubs, relevant individual wikis, Twitter and Facebook so you won’t be missing out on the show.

Stay tuned here for more information and we hope to see you all in Chicago.
