Shane Joseph Wilson Barlowski (born July 1, 1988) is an administrator at Liberapedia.
Early life
Barlowski was born at 10:16 PM on July 1, 1988 at Cherry Point, North Carolina to Stanley "Stas" Barlowski and Debra "Debbie" (nee Barlowski) Riollano. He grew up in Newport, North Carolina. He was baptized Roman Catholic at his hometown parish of Annunciation Roman Catholic Parish in Havelock, North Carolina on his mother's 32nd birthday on August 14, 1988.
Education and childhood
At age 5, shortly before starting school at Newport Elementary School, he was diagnosed with traits of autism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and a learning disability in almost all higher mathematics after a trip for an evaluation in Greenville, North Carolina. His tenure at Newport Elementary School didn't go well and would last very shortly and then he got relocated to Newport Developmental Center, a private school who could help him better on November 8, 1993. His first teacher was the now former NDC teacher, Julie Stover from 1993-1996 when he'd relocate to an upper class when he was 7 and about to turn 8 in the middle of May 1996 after he had done so well with Stover. During that time, his father moved to Georgia for better pay and work and because his parents were separating to get a divorce, unbeknownst to him. That would change his life forever and especially affect his emotions and feelings even in school. Although his grades continue to go basically good, he started to act up more and would get into frequent trouble, especially towards former NDC teacher Marianna Matzinek who was his teacher at that time. It continued personally and at school when 1997 came in. Later that year, his mother met another guy, Jose Riollano who was working a job for the NCDOT and at Auto Zone after having had a mechanic business in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Their house on 990 Chatham Street in Newport, North Carolina, his first home that he had been living at since he was born, was in the process of being sold as the cost of it was too bearing to keep up with the money for. They officially moved out of the house during the mid-weekend of December 1998 into the left side of a duplex on 711 Hill Street also in Newport. His parents officially divorced on his father's 50th birthday on December 9, 1998, falling short of almost 20 years of marriage. His mother married Jose Riollano in the justice of the peace on March 12, 1999. They lived in the duplex from that time to the mid-weekend of March 2000 when they moved to 172 Bayberry Road in Bay Woods just down the road from Hill Street. Not long during that summer, Barlowski completed his time with the upper classroom that was taught by Colleen Murray and relocated for a third and final time to the highest upper classroom taught by the late Elizabeth "Betsie" Poindexter toward late July 2000. While his grades continued to soar, he would still have personal turmoils with other students who picked on him and he also let it make him bitter and act no better than them. He'd get more notes for simply shooting off his mouth. It would continue, even if he didn't let it make him learn a lesson, especially when 2001 came in and when he became a teenager on his 13th birthday.
Teenage years and later education
When he was trying to be totally better toward Poindexter, she would leave Newport Developmental Center for a teaching position in special education at Morehead Middle School in Morehead City, North Carolina in late July 2001. He attended her going-away dinner and party at Texas Steakhouse & Saloon. A permanent replacement was Jennifer Murphy who resided in New Bern, North Carolina in the fall of 2001 and not long after the attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Flight 93 incident on September 11, 2001. It was then that he was doing better in performance, personally, and still achieving good grades despite still getting picked on and bullied. However, he would still have to attend Newport Developmental Center for the 2002-2003 school year to be ready to go to West Carteret High School in Morehead City. After that school year, Barlowski would begin a new school era on August 11, 2003 at West Carteret High School after his special orientation there on August 7, 2003. He was nervous on his first day but began to meet and attract more people, especially the faculty. His grades were going good and his first month there peaked. Shortly after when he acknowledged that he shouldn't have moonwalked in the halls during 2nd lunch period on September 2, 2003, false accusations thrown at him began and grew frequent, such as on September 8, 2003 and when his mother got a phone call from his caseworker and now retired WCHS teacher, Charlotte Brothers regarding that on the night of the 2nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks which really got to him. Even when he was being more careful to avoid any more trouble, they'd still grow, especially from anyone who didn't like him for who he was. Despite not much help in his 2nd period class of Teen Living which he almost failed, he completed it with a D and 76 along with passing his other classes with higher grades. While his freshman year and personal life had been wracked personally, his grades still excelled. Nothing personally would change for Barlowski at school but he continued to get A's and B's, getting the Academic Acheivement Award 3 straight times, 2 Good Patriot Awards, and performed in the Special Olympics for all his high school years, 4 in track and field part and 2 in the bowling part of it. Barlowski graduated with the Class of 2007 on June 8, 2007 but would still have to complete paid working hours to get the diploma at his job as a janitor at Bojangles in Newport which was achieved in late July 2007. He worked there for exactly only 1 year to get that done. He also went through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) to become a full member of the Roman Catholic Church in the 2007-2008 class of it and was fully received into the Church during the Easter Vigil Mass on March 22, 2008. Barlowski decided mid-July 2006 that he wanted to go back to the Roman Catholic Church after having attended Walter's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church and Moore's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Newport from January 31, 2005 to Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006 when he attended a sunrise service. He had quit going to church on May 15, 2004 after having had to go anyway with his father.
Post-school era and evolution of political views
After having gotten the diploma, Barlowski awaited the SSI battle to be able to try to apply to college to follow his political dreams. He registered as an Independent on July 18, 2007 while his theological and political views were shifting more to the left despite having been raised in a conservative enviornment. He expressed interest in the moderate Republican and former NYC mayor Rudy Giuliani but leaned more to all the Democrats, notably eventually U.S. Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama as the other Republicans didn't appeal to him although the way his views would eventually shift, the libertarian Representative Ron Paul appealed in the social parts. After Giuliani stopped impressing him and had went from a frontrunner of the GOP side to where dropping out would occur on January 29, 2008. Barlowski then officially threw his support for Obama as Clinton and former U.S. Senator John Edwards weren't impressive enough compared to Obama. He kept his support for Obama and voted for him in the North Carolina primaries as a first-time voter on May 6, 2008. While the Republican nominee, Senator John McCain was very tempting with his pick of little-known Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, he stuck to Obama and the Vice Presidential nominee, Joseph "Joe" Biden. The more he knew and studied on politics, the more he realized that year that he is a liberal and leaned Democratic. After he had gotten the SSI earlier that year, he attempted to apply at Carteret Community College in Morehead City, He took the entrace exam on October 21, 2008 which he passed despite not getting the computer part of it which didn't affect his passing the exam. He voted in early voting for every Democrat besides the Obama-Biden ticket on October 29, 2008. Things looked bright until when one of the faculty members there deemed him stupid and thought Barlowski could only "further his education" despite having graduated with honors in high school when a letter came in on November 3, 2008, just two days before talking with people involved with getting people mentors. His only mentor was Christine Martin, whom he met on December 4, 2008 and they begin their work together on December 8, 2008 which got to a great start with goals of him learning to cook, budget, and improve on social skills needed even for a loner like him. Their work continued so great that their last day together would eventually be toward late July 2009 after completing his goals and his mentor services also had ended. He went to psychologist James Griffin, the guy who helped him the most in his first evaluation, for another evaluation test to prove him smart enough to get into college on February 15, 2009 and it went so well that Barlowski was proven to have Asperger's instead of traits of autism.
Post-coast era
While having had accomplished more and with a good evaluation to help his chances for college, Barlowski's life in Newport, North Carolina didn't get any better. During a vacation in the western North Carolina mountains from August 8-19, 2009, he and his mother were talking about possibilities of moving from the coast of North Carolina to the mountains where Riollano's side of the family resides. They had mentioned it some before but the more it was brought up as an idea, the more it attracted him and not long when they came back from vacation, Barlowski was on board and wanted to move up there as well. He and his mother went back up during Labor Day weekend for a week to look for a place to live and found a house to rent on 128 Walking Road in the Bald Creek township in Burnsville, North Carolina on September 7, 2009. They prepared their move after going back for the final time before the move that was due to happen toward the weekend leading into November 2009. It was also that time that Barlowski's views went so much far to the left that he was intending to swtich from Independent to Democratic. The moving of their stuff into an ABF truck was completed on October 24, 2009 and he spent his remaining days with his father until when he and his mother officially left to move on October 28, 2009. The ABF truck had made it to the house ahead of schedule later that morning and the stuff was moved in. They officially settled in on October 30, 2009, the day after getting most stuff situated. On November 2, 2009, while applying for an ID card, Barlowski officially became a registered Democrat but not in enough time to vote in the municipal elections. Despite his mother complaining about being up there, especially before she got her current job as housekeeper at Brookside Rehabilitation & Care in Burnsville on February 17, 2010, they are still remaining in the mountains. Barlowski has said that it did a lot for him and that a whole new era began for him and has no regrets. Even the fact that he had to go down the coast from April 28-May 3, 2011 with his mother and godmother/aunt Barbara Pate mainly to see his 2nd ex and best friend Cindy Burchett who resided down the coast at 764 Mill Creek Road with her aunt/adopted mother Brenda Collins before moving to Virginia on her 26th birthday on May 27, 2011 didn't change his mind and it only confirmed that he is truly happy with where he is at.
Personal life
Barlowski loves politics and is a very proud liberal Democratic socialist, enjoys going to chuch and currently attends Sacred Heart Jesus Catholic Church in Burnsville, North Carolina but watches Mass on EWTN when he isn't able to go in person, shopping, going out for walks, surfing the Internet, watching television, especially the great liberal news channel that is MSNBC, reading, listening to music, and hanging out. He is a proud self-proclaimed loner who divides his alone time and time with those who are worth his time such as his relatives.
