Chris "Shilo Sixx" Simpkins (born December 2, 1985) is a Canadian Film Critic, Journalist, Musician and Radio DJ. He has reviewed movies for several newspapers and has been active as a Film Critic since 1997, reviewing films from Nova Scotia to Ontario Canada throughout his career. In 2011, he founded Film Fantasy, a place where he could publish his movie reviews and invite the world to see his work. In 2014, He moved to Fredericton and became a DJ on CHSR-FM Campus Radio through a fellow Film Critic and friend, Python (Film Critic). They are the hosts of Python's Paradise where they do a weekly Film review radio show and interview Cult movie stars on the station. In 2015, he applied to be a Film Critic for review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. Shilo is currently working on an autobiography titled "Off the Rails" due out in 2018.

Early life
Shilo was born Chris Simpkins on December 2, 1985 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. He is of Irish ancestry on his mother's side and English ancestry on his father's side. He first moved to Newcastle and than moved to Moncton where he spent over a decade in the city. In the early 1990's, he developed an interest in music after watching Eddie and the Cruisers with his father. After changing to several different schools, he finally settled at Bessbrough School where his interest in film began when he watched Child's Play (1988 film) with a friend in early 1996.

Health Issues
In 2015, Shilo was diagnosed with Dermatitis which has mildly effected his bass playing abilities.
