All activism is in order to influence one of these three primary institutions, and a better understanding of how each of them work and how they interact is critical to effective change. The goal of activism is a better world, whatever your ideology and regardless of whether you are coming from the Left or the Right on any particular issue. We must work together towards a common purpose, improving our world.
