I noticed the following pages that I'd like to see whitelisted that aren't on Help:System_messages/whitelist (not positive all are still in use, though):
The rest I am unsure of where they are used or if they are still used. I am finding out about the WoWWiki specific ones and will reply here when I know.

This one has been on the list since day one, but is a little harder to sanitize. It will be listed on the Technical Update when it is released for editing.

Showing support to those below especially! (Thanks for considering them!)
I'm not completely sure, but I believe VSTF maintains versions of those articles that apply Wikia-wide. The versions in individual wikis are probably ignored.
MediaWiki:Shared help info would be nice. I've been planning on expanding on-wiki help at the wiki I admin at, and making that message as clear as possible to readers is a minor but connected task of mine.
The change I've made to it thus far is just making it clearer that the text in the area where that message is displayed is on Community Central/here, not the local wiki (since it seems to only display in the "boxed" help that displays when there's a help page of the same name here).
Here's what's currently in that message on the wiki I admin:
The text inside this box is [[w:{{FULLPAGENAME}}|stored on Wikia's central wiki]], Community Central. Questions? Ask in the [[w:Special:Forum|Community Forum]].
(Okay, the above text actually also includes a link to the page on here; I pulled it from an idea I drafted in my userspace on that wiki last night instead of the actual message, but the message itself over there is virtually the same, except that there's no link on the first sentence.)
Basically, I added a sentence on the front of the default message to clarify that the text below it ("in the box") is on Community Central and not the local wiki.
We're still planning on adding more pages - but it's been a busy few months, which has meant we've not had a lot of time to work on it. Certainly we are continuing to maintain and review a list internally, and we do intend to whitelist more in the future.
MediaWiki:Cite link label group-lower-alpha per Thread:952000. Kirkburn, I know you've already mentioned my specific case was under review via email correspondence, though I don't know if that's the same process as this. Everything works perfectly thanks to your edit, though Fandyllic mentioned that since it's unlikely to be a security risk it should be mentioned here, so, here ya go. :)
Could you possibly create a quick list of known missing pages, and send them in to Special:Contact? It's something better fixed on our end, tbh - the time spent reviewing that particularly message would probably be better spent simply getting the pages added. Thanks!
Is there a way to unblock creation/editing of abuse/edit filter warning messages (I don't know if that would require whitelist finagling or Abuse Filter finagling)? I don't need to change those sorts of things right now, thankfully, but the inability to create new messages means that any created filters can't use custom warnings that haven't already been created, which is a problem because some types of edits that might be filtered benefit from a more explanative warning than "are you sure that's what you wanted to do?" and I could see other wikis with the filter enabled where there might be more frequent filter creation or editing (or wikis with the extension newly enabled who have yet to create a filter and/or warning) having issues with the inability to create messages for it.
MediaWiki:Chat-start-a-chat is one I'd like to see whitelisted. Something changed in the way the box displays since the last time I was on the main skin, and the button now overlaps the chat name. This was brought to my attention yesterday, but the page isn't whitelisted, so I can't fix it. (But it's not that urgent, so I thought it better to pose the request here rather than asking staff to directly edit the page for me. XP Or whatever they'd do if I asked them.)
We do have a fair few chat messages on our list to review, but I don't think it's likely we'd be able to do all of the ones listed above (most of the time, every extra message requires extra time).
While we haven't been able to add any very recently, the project to whitelist more is still active. Additions will continue to be announced in Blog:Wikia Technical Updates.
Yeah, that's why I suggested it. I apparently want a lot of AbuseFilter pages to be whitelisted, though I have no immediate need to edit any, thank goodness. XP (Some of the tags seem to be from a global edit filter, though, like VisualEditor and Mobile edit tags, which I see little use in editing, but then there are tags based on our local Abuse Filter messages that I'd like to shorten the name of because I misunderstood how the tags would be applied. :| )
First of all, that's for this wiki, which you are not an admin on. Second, I don't believe you can change it yourself. You have to Contact Staff with your request and wait for them to respond to you.

You didn't read the thread topic for the reason why that user posted a link. This thread is where users can make requests to Wikia Staff to queue specific MediaWiki message pages to be whitelisted, so telling them to go to Special:Contact is pointless.
Whitelisting pages is not a simple, quick job unfortunately, but it has not been dropped - it's a case of prioritising it against other work that needs to be done.
It is okay to point people to Special:Contact for quick tweaks to non-whitelisted messages, though we cannot promise being able to do all desired changes.
The whitelisting of MediaWiki:Uploadtext is good news - I'm hoping MediaWiki:Oasis-comments-header gets whitelisted too seeing as I've had an influx of swearing, image-stealing or trolling comments on my home wiki.
