Hi, I'm having trouble creating an infobox with the right parameters and parser functions. I'm working on the WoD Wiki, a wiki for the Wings of Destiny browser game. Like any MMORPG, there are items, pieces of armor, weapons, etc. I'm trying to make the name of the item in the infobox change colors according to the grade of the item.
Here is the template im working on. What I'd like to have is a hidden {{{grade}}} parameter that would set the desired color for the {{{itemname}}} parameter text and I figured it could be done with a series of "{{!}}{{#if:..." parser functions.
Can someone let me know if these logical tests could be integrated into an infobox. If not I'll just create 6 simple "itembox" templates for each grade. The logic im trying to implement is this:
If {{{grade}}} = D, then --> |<span style="color:white;">{{{itemname}}}</span> If {{{grade}}} = C, then --> |<span style="color:green;">{{{itemname}}}</span> If {{{grade}}} = B, then --> |<span style="color:blue;">{{{itemname}}}</span>
and so on...
If anyone can help me out or redirect me to a page where this type of thing is explained, I'd appreciate it!
Thanks,
