Pages with new messages are moved to the top of the list, and are shown in bold and with an icon.
—Wiki-style forums
This behavior would be supported by 2 CSS rules:
.forumlist td.forum_title a.forum_new { font-weight: bold; background: url(images.wikia.nocookie.net/main-page-demo/images/4/4e/Forum_new.gif) center left no-repeat; padding-left: 20px; } .forumlist td.forum_title a.forum_new:visited { font-weight: normal; background: none; padding-left: 20px; }
But the rules "font-weight" and "background(-image)" based on the :visited
selector is no longer supported on modern browsers (on Mozilla, for example, since 2011).
Should we remove these things from the Help pages?
Another question: do you know of any wiki with an active community that uses this type of forum?
