  • In basic searches you can specify "everything" or "articles" or "photos and videos"

I notice in special:log/delete it seems to only function like "everything".

This often leads to clutter where most deletions are files so if you want to exclude deleted files and only search for deleted articles, there doesn't appear to be a way to narrow that down.

Is there some mod for being more specific?

Perhaps something they could change about "target" in the future where we have a dropdown field (article, file, user, talk, etc) as a separate field prior to the name so we could exclude or specify only certain types of deletion results?

    • Well, there is such a feature available to UCP wikis (see here). As for legacy platform wikis, I doubt Fandom will do anything at this point. You would probably have to implement it using custom JS.
