  • Hi, is there anyway to control the widths of columns in a table. I have a table atm [1] which looks hella ugly at the moment and I can't work out how to fix it? CheersĀ :)

    • Currently you have width: 675px; which sets the width of the total table to 675px, which is quite narrow for a table with 5 columns. You can set the width of a column for example by using style="text-align:center; width:20%"|Name which changes the width of a column. There are more useful tips for tables on Help:Tables.

    • Column dimensions auto-adjust their width to try to "best-fit" the situation. There are a few ways around this but they are limited in what they can do. The best way I can describe it is that controlling the width of columns is like restraining a water balloon using rubber bands. It is possible be really difficult.

    • Using percentages worked - thank you guys!
