But they are recent activity on the wiki. That's the point of Recent WikiActivity. They're not going to change something because you don't understand the purpose of a feature.
You really don't need to follow the WikiActivity here on Community Central.
But, adoptions are useless! And besides, some people want to see useful edits on the side!

My apologies, I have no desire to adopt anything. Did the foster care and adoption things decades ago, way too much responsibility for my lifestyle now.

A good tip is to untick the Adoption namespace boxes. The result is adoption requests no longer appearing on RecentChanges, and the activity logs are not clogged up.
