    The blue thing! around my DP.

    • I'm not entirely sure what border colour you're talking about. Do you mean the links to your Message Wall/blog/contributions/following on the IMOTWOM Wiki? Or is there a border around your profile pic?

    • Also, how do I make pages that aren't part of the wikia like this one for tabs? https://imotwom.fandom.com/wiki/TWOM_Mythology
      If you check the source, it goes to the users page for example:

      >tabview>
      User:111/222|333
      >/tabview>

    • Someone else should be able to help you out with the border one (if it's possible :P) - I've never seen it done but, then again, it's not the kind of thing I look for.

      As for the second question, I've also never seen that done before. You can only use this for tabs inside your own wiki (they can be any pages). It works like this:

      <tabview>
      User:Perished/Subpage1|Tab1
      User:Perished/Subpage2|Tab2
      User:Perished/Subpage3|Tab3
      User:Perished/Subpage4|Tab4
      User:Perished/Subpage5|Tab5
      </tabview>

      although I wouldn't reccomend doing this - it doesn't work on mobile and it takes a few seconds to load. I believe that is what you're asking - correct me if I'm wrong!

    • Yeah, I'm trying to reformat a page which is waaay to long, so regardless if it was on mobile or not I think It'd still be cleaner on PC while the same on mobile,   As for the border thing, it's just for aesthetics but I don't mind if it stays that way.

      Thanks anyways!

    • Aaah, making a subpage. Go to User:Perished/Whatever on the wiki and then you should simply be able to click 'create'.

    • Yeah, I figured that out, thanks alot!

    • Perished Masthead Borders

      @Perished about the borders, it's very difficult to make borders like that. However, I did try doing them. You can go ahead and add the CSS below via Special:MyPage/wikia.css and you'll get the result on the right.

      .WikiaUserPagesHeader {
          border-left: 3px solid lime;
          border-bottom: 3px solid lime;
          border-right: 3px solid lime;
      }

      .tabs .selected a {
          border-bottom: 4px solid white;
          margin-bottom: -3px;
          border-left: 3px solid lime;
          border-top: 3px solid lime;
          border-right: 3px solid lime;
      }

      .masthead-info {
          border: 3px solid lime;
          margin-left: 180px !important;
      }

      .UserProfileMasthead .masthead-avatar .avatar {
          border-color: lime;
      }

      .UserProfileMasthead .masthead-info-lower:after {
          content: " ";
          border-color: lime;
          border-style: solid;
          border-width: 2px;
          margin-left: -53px;
          margin-top: -82px !important;
          display: block;
          width: 24px;
          position: relative;
      }

      .UserProfileMasthead .masthead-info hgroup:after {
          content: " ";
          transform: rotate(45deg) !important;
          border-bottom: 3px solid lime;
          display: block;
          width: 37px;
          margin-top: 21px;
          position: absolute;
          margin-left: -58px;
          z-index: 1;
      }

    • Will it change for for entire wikia (the one I'm helping for aesthetic purposes)? The reason I want to change it is because the color's a bit poopoo for the current theme.

    • ALSO THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR EFFORT, I don't want to add a border. I just want to remove/change the blue shading tint thing on the entire wikia, the green is just marking what area I'm refering to..

    • To change the background image/color of that element, use:

      .WikiaUserPagesHeader {
          background: <background settings>;
      }

      If need be, you can use the individual background properties instead of the shorthand property (see here for more information on the properties). For example, if you wanted solid red:

      .WikiaUserPagesHeader {
          background-image: none;
          background-color: red;
      }

    • where exactly do i paste this? I have no idea how this works, sorry!

        Loading editor
    • It depends. The example I provided will be applied to the "border" of all users' pages. If you want it on yours only, we need to make some modifications. Where you place the CSS depends on who you want to see the changes. If you want all viewers of your wiki to see the changes, then use MediaWiki:Wikia.css. If you want the changes just for yourself on your wiki, use wikia.css. If you want the changes just for yourself but for all wikis, use global.css.
