Ah yes, that issue popped up last week.
Is anything changed about the order of the results? I noticed it didn't correspond to poplar pages.
Probably won't have much effect on me, since I was unaware of that issue. However I'm happy for those people that will benefit from this news.
@Tupka217 : I believe the team are working on some general search improvements, so you may notice some order tweaks. However, if you believe the order you are seeing is problematic, please do send in a bug report. Thanks!
It's not problematic per se, just odd. On both Marvel and DC - which have similar page structure - searching for a real first name first gives all writers and artists with that name, and only after that the characters, in no particular order. It's just odd that it would be ordered this way. It's got nothing to do with order of creation (like WLH), popularity, page size, alphabet, or anything else I can come up with. Searching for Bruce, you'd think "Bruce Wayne (New Earth)" or "Batman (Bruce Wayne)" would show up high. They're popular and very, very long, but the latter (third on popular pages) is on page two, and the former... has a gallery subpage (with barely any scrapable content) on page two but the real page on three, well below insignificant elseworlds versions with practically no content.
Ah, thanks for the details - I'll pass this along to the team for them to look into!
