Would someone mind helping me with making it so a different poll can appear at random on the Seraph of the End main page. There are two possible courses that I am aware of.
1) A random order has been applied to make a "Random Cover" image appear from a list of selected ones. The same way images are put in link brackets, could polls be added as well. I don’t see why we can’t have every last poll on one page like Servamp has done then add whatever it is to make the random effect for the main page but wouldn’t know the layout for this. This RandomSelection page might mean more to people familiar with it. There was also something about maths parser functions.
2) The second possibility is to add polls to their own page to take part in a pre set rotation like this example. This should have the date, the month can be changed to one of the 52 weeks. I could make 52 polls though some could overlap, like some repeated on certain weeks. Here it wouldn’t be random per say rather pre planned but it’s still an option. If making a page for each poll is the answer I’ll need to know soon so I can make a different poll for each day, at different times because I'm mentally ill.
Changing randomly each week would be ideal, or two weeks. The cache might be an issue which is why it couldn’t be done for like every day if that were desired. Changing each month might take time since there’s going to be 20+ polls, new ones are planned and there are previous ones that can return into rotation as part of this number. But changing weekly or every two weeks should still be fine for the cache.
Those are two suggestions on how this could be carried out, though presumably there may be other ones, indeed someone may already know of such a method.
The short question is can someone make a system where a different poll appears by itself randomly at a set time?
