"Helpers" are editors who work with other language communities in a number of different fields. They are chosen by staff, not self-nominated.
You can just be helpful, though.
You can't be a Helper just by asking. You have to earn it.
However, be warned, FANDOM has politics just like any other company. I've helped more people and wikis than almost anyone on FANDOM ever, but I'm still just a regular user. You have to be less critical of FANDOM as an organization or you won't get any fancy rights.
"Helper" is a title for non-English support, so if you aren't active in multiple languages, you can't get it, no matter how much you're helping.
True, but it doesn't invalidate anything I said. It does however, make one realize the "Helper" title is a bit generic for what it really is.
True. Also, I still don't have the tag even though I am IVT... luckily I'm mostly on localization so I don't really need the powers.
