Today I have noticed that when I exit my browser, Google Chrome, and then come back to a Wiki, I have to sign in again. This just started today and I can't seem to stay signed-in, is anyone else experiencing this problem as well?
I am. It's annoying because I protect my pages and when I edit them, I try publishing, but it says I'm not signed in, so I have to copy the source, paste it in a sticky note, sign in, go back to the page, and paste the source
SascaWolf, it sounds like you are having a different problem. I believe Vincent Dawn is talking specifically about closing the browser and then reopening it. Your situation is different and is likely not resulting from the same bug. Your login issue is most commonly encountered in one of two scenarios:
A prolonged amount of time between accessing an edit page and publishing the edit
Editing on a mobile device
If you are using MS Edge, it most likely is the first case.
I may not remember very well, but I think there was a "Remember Me" option at least 2 years ago. I don't understand why they removed it if somebody wants to be temporarily logged in. However, IMO, I like staying signed in, but the "Remember Me" option would be helpful for other people.
Anyways, let's send feedback here for this option, and they may accept the suggestion.
Confirmed on Linux, using Opera 45, Firefox 50 and QupZilla 1.8.9. This is becoming so problematic I can't even login and I can only comment anonimously, my username and/or password are no longer recognized!
It has been happening since yesterday. I use Firefox, but it started happening after I cleared my history. I clear my history about once a week, and I was able to log on once, and only once. Now I have to log on every single time.

They said they were resolving it. You don't need to bump this conversation.
Not for me, I still experience it but occasionally. Not too much, though.
Anyways, I have a smart solution to solve this problem, but it can be only solved temporarily. First, open a new window, then go to FANDOM. Second, open another window and go to a random wiki where ever would you like to be in. Third, you can edit, create, communicate, do whatever you want. Fourth, if you want to close Wikia, keep the first window opened. Fifth, log in back to Wikia. You won't experience this problem anymore, unless if you closed the first window.
Okay, we all know none of us can close this, but let's just stop posting and bumping the conversation. There is no reason to comment, and don't comment "Okay" please. Just nod your head and close the tab.
