Question[]

So basically, this is the user, who was working for Gamepedia, and died? TreeIsLife (talk) 18:00, 9 February 2021 (UTC)

As it says in the page, Senior Gamepedia Wiki Manager. --MisterWoodhouse (talk) 18:02, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
I see. It is so sad. So much time passed, while it feels like it happened just yesterday. TreeIsLife (talk) 18:10, 9 February 2021 (UTC)

Request to add my deleted memorial(s) to the page[]

I am unsure if my reply Here will ping on the news post, so I thought I should ask here as well, just in case. Especially for something so important.

I made 2 comments on the memorial, and was gutted that the GDPR took them away. I could fix my userpages on the Minecraft Wiki, but I could never fix them on the memorial page.

However, with the move, it seems that now my memorial can be readded to the page. So, I'd like to request my old memorials Found here could be amended to the page. There were 2, one in 2014, and a followup in 2016.

Wynthyst was fundamental to my development as a person, let alone as a moderator. Specifically her lessons on fairness, and of being a community advocate above all else. She died the day before my birthday, and I learned of it the day of my birthday. She was very important to me, and I would like to have the old comments restored here, if that is allowed. --Kizzycocoa(talk) 14:14, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

Added your comment back. --MisterWoodhouse (talk) 14:18, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
Thank you very much MisterWoodhouse, though I had made 2 comments. the one used was the followup in 2016, the first comment I made was posted on May 16, 2014.
I am unsure if it'd be a matter of one or the other, or if the first comment could be prepended to the existing comment with a "(2 years later)" statement afterwards. But if I must choose between the two, I would much prefer the first one be shown. I'd prefer both, but if that isn't reasonable, could it be changed to the first comment?
Sincerely, thanks again. This has really lifted the weight off of an issue that has gone through many tickets and has been unresolved for years. Thank you so much once again. --Kizzycocoa(talk) 14:30, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
Fixed. --MisterWoodhouse (talk) 14:35, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
Thank you. Again, thank you thank you thank you. Words fail to describe how much relief and weight has been lifted here. I still have the last reply flagged in my emails, intending to respond, but it had just filled me with sadness and frustration, so I never did. With this, I finally feel at ease with it all. It was incredibly important, so one more time, thank you. It means so much more than, well, at least many other people would know. She was an amazing friend, and is still sorely missed. I still think of her often, and will carry the community-first principles she taught me to the grave, be it for moderating a wiki, a forum, a discord group or any other community. We have to be mods that put people first, like she did, and I hope to strive for that in her honour. --Kizzycocoa(talk) 06:19, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
