  • Hello again, Ursuul. I need your help on adding Auto-refresh with a checkmark box in wiki activity in Overlord just like in you-zitsu. However, I already tried to add it in Js, but didn't work so just need a minor help.

    • Import dev:AjaxRC/code.js in MediaWiki:ImportJS. Then, add this to your Wikia.js:

      /* Auto updating recent changes opt-in
        * See w:c:dev:AjaxRC for info & attribution
        */

       AjaxRCRefreshText = 'Auto-Refresh';
       AjaxRCRefreshHoverText = 'Automatically refresh the page';
       ajaxPages = ["Special:RecentChanges","Special:WikiActivity","Special:UncategorizedPages","Special:AllPages"];

      JavaScript changes now goes through the review process: Help:JavaScript review process, so you will need to wait until it has been reviewed by Fandom Staff. You can click "Enter Test Mode" to test your JS,.

    • Ursuul, how do you resize the image gallery tabs in the infoboxes again? Since the tabs is to big.

      In Isekai Wiki.

    • You want to make them smaller? Here, change this CSS…

      .portable-infobox .pi-image-collection .pi-tab-link {
          font-weight: bold;
          border: 1px solid #1A2640;
          border-radius: 7px;
      }

      …to this…

      .portable-infobox .pi-image-collection .pi-tab-link {
          font-weight: bold;
          padding: 5px 7px;
          border: 1px solid #1A2640;
          border-radius: 7px;
      }

      …in MediaWiki:Themes.css. You can see the difference here.

  • Hello! I am interested in become a mod! Thank you for reaching out to me! I really appreciate that. But, I do have a couple of questions. What do you have to do while being a mod ( I know the basics) and what requirements time wise and effort wise that it would take. I am up for the challenge and have been waiting for this opportunity when I started having interest in the Wiki around a year ago. I am so glad that you would have the mindset to choose me. Thank you so much for all that you have done. Is there anything you would need to know from me? Thank you. Sincerely, Ultimatebooknerd

      Thank you so much for the information. I would still like to be a Moderator. I would appreciate it so much. Thank you so much for clarifying. I do not have any more questions, but if you think that I should know something else then that is great. I do have Discord, I believe that my username is @thatbooknerd. But, I have been inactive for awhile. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
      You’re all set then! We’ll get you promoted as soon as the others respond, maybe earlier if they take too long. However, @thatbooknerd#6918 doesn’t seem to match any profiles. If you’d still like to chat there, then in Discord go into Friends > hit the plus/add friend button, & then type in Ursuul#1776 & submit. I’ll then accept your friend request & then form a group DM with us three where we can talk more rapidly. If you prefer not to then that’s fine.

    Could you help me assemble CSS for PortableCSSPad to replicate the theme designer? Thanks.

      Loading editor
    • If I understand you correctly, you want to set up CSS variables for every single element that ThemeDesigner changes? Then you can just tweak variables in PortableCSSPad for testing how things will look?

      If I’m correct, then I’m afraid that that’s a bit too monumental of a task for me; there’s a truly awe inspiring amount of stuff that ThemeDesigner changes which you’d have to account for, & Fandom can update ThemeDesigner at any moment, forcing you to start all over. I think you’d have an easier time just asking for PortableCSSPad to be made functional within ThemeDesigner itself, if it isn’t already, then you can test changes inside ThemeDesigner without having to effectively reverse engineer the entire thing.

    • Correct

      oof.

      WDYM of PortableCSSPad being made functional w/i theme designer? How will that help me do it on the home page of a wiki?

        Loading editor
    • oh, home page, no it wouldn’t help with that sorry, I was thinking that it could be generally helpful. I’m sorry that I don’t really have enough time to put into reverse engineering/maintaining such a thing.
