I was trying to edit SuperNinja310's and RUBZTER300's page with more information, updated number count, and add in a few extra details and the links to their games, but then the filter decided to BLOCK me aswell, and I don't understand why now and not before. I had edited im_sandra's page before with no issues before to update information and numbers, but now it decides to block my IP from editing.
Per our logs, you included some detail concerning the cause of their blocking that did not sit well with our abuse filter.
Thank you for your good faith contribution to the Roblox Wikia, but I ask for your understanding behind the reasons why content of that nature is prohibited for new users. In most anecdotal incidents on our wiki, most new editors who make such reference to that type of explicit content are doing so in hopes to vandalize article pages.
So i was trying to change up the History of Roblox 2020 and i added the text in 'and sometimes the character models became Adolf.' But the filter decided to BLOCK me, even though that happened in MeepCity, so i had to feature that.
So I got blocked from commenting due to the fact that I try editing a page, but because I don't know much about this site, I thought it didn't edit the site and did nothing, so then I wrote something, then I published it, and got blocked not really knowing why. So I would just like to be unblocked as I will more cautious of what I am doing on Fandom.
Just noticed, after an internet box mainpage purge, that RT Family Footer is no longer working as intended. I checked for vandalism on /entry, /wikis, /desc, and /doc and there are no new edits. I assume Wikia Fandom made some kind of backend script change (as MediaWiki:Wikia.css + MediaWiki:Common.js have no changes on community [if that would even make a difference]).
I tried to diagnose the issue without success. In the meantime, I have lumped the main template script into a note for now (since it produces a mess).
Hi Dill, sorry this has been a long, long time coming– but the footer is finally fixed!
Sorry I didn't respond timely whatsoever, I recall briefly trying to fix it last year, but I didn't manage to figure out the problem. Last year, I wasn't really active on Fandom (nor any other online platform really) and I wasn't expecting to resolve the issue then, but I'm finally ramping back into wikis this year.
Anywho, I once again stumbled upon your message when doing some wall cleanup a couple days ago. I finally took another stab at it today. Glanced at another wikis footer I have a small hand in, and noticed that it was missing CSS variables that were an integral part of it (in the past). On our footer, I swapped out the variables and did some raw substitution... now it works. That's all it took– guess Fandom disabled that functionality at some point.
Hope all is well– I suppose I may or may not hear back after your own wiki vacation!
Sorry for the late-ish response, I haven't quite gotten back to regularly checking Fando/Wikia.
What you have described does sound like a known reoccurring issue with our profanity filters (particularly our more "lax" one). Very sorry for the inconvenience, I will look further into your block shortly and I will rescind your block once I can reaffirm your account.
I left a friend of mine to use my wikia account to browse some items in roblox.i left to buy some snacks and when I came back he tried to make a joke and deleted a wikia (he told me about this) about blackvalk I think. So I made sure he wouldn’t touch my wikia account and please unblock me.also I love the roblox wikia because I play roblox a lot. My account:IWIN0312
After a reviewing the edit that was attempted by your account, that does seem to be the case.
