I'm honestly sorry and deeply apologize for forcing his excess onto this wiki and you. It is perhaps a mistake I started that caused a massive mess on CC. This block, despite a well reasoned one, is something I regret forcing onto you and others.
Sorry, I didn't mean to cause any offence with "that user".
It was just intended more as a shorthand, like with terms like "OP", but I can see why it might be considered rude, and I do need to start using usernames more often. I know that your comment probably wasn't referring to that, but it did get me thinking and I thought I owed you an apology, as it really is akin to "that person" in RL and could have been replaced with a name.
In regards to the statement, I can see why others might take offence, as it's somewhat irrelevant and could be interpretted as negatively saying 'x behaves this way, so they must be autistic', but - equally - there are certain symptoms of autism and autistic people do share some common traits, like hyperfixation and difficulties in communication, so I can understand what you meant.
It's just one of those things, but I do think the reactions a bit OTT from others.
No worry; I said it and I am going to own up to it.
I'll be happy to change my mind, if a better explanation comes up, but it's been something like 9 years of disruption on multiple wikis falling in a very rigid pattern. It's difficult to avoid the autism interpreation.
The current Wiki content is about stage magic (illusions and card tricks), however I wish to create a Wiki about Magic (supernatural). Basically the entire Wiki will be different content. This Wiki only has 3 pages and the most recent edit was 2 years ago where a user said "He is awesome". Am I still required to make edits to this Wiki before making a adoption request?
