Requesting help with some edits on the website in creating Story Guide Template and Manga Guide Template.
Also informing ever since fandom has migrated to new wiki software me or the other person don’t receive any email notification when someone messages on Ahiru no Sora fandom. I tried resetting my preferences on my profile it didn’t work.
Hi Stygies. Hope you are doing well. I found the problem why I am not receiving any email notificiation from message walls, comments and talk pages.
The email notification for 'Message walls and Forum' is missing on the Ahiru no Sora - Settings in comparison to Community Central - Settings. I took snapshots of both the pages. Hope this helps you guys in solving the problem. Please refer to the below image.
I received this complaint from someone else as well and that's ticketed, the staff are working on it. Are you 100% sure it doesn't work at talk pages, though? It's important if it's just message walls and discussions and not talk pages, or surely from all of these?
I'm 100%. You can send me a test message on my profile's 'Message Wall' at Ahiru no Sora wiki. If I don't respond right away that means the problem with the email notifications is still there. And also do that for talk pages and comments.
Also requesting whenever you have time please create the Manga Guide and Story Guide templates. Thanks.
Hi Stygies. Letting you know. Since TwistedShadowzz (Bcat) has been inactive for more than 3 months. On Oct 23rd, I applied for Bcat position for ANS wiki on the anime adoption page. It says one week to process. If it gets delayed what is the next step I should take. Please let me know. Thanks
Hi Stygies. Letting you know I got in touch with TwistedShadowzz (Ahiru no Sora wiki Bureaucrat) through discord. So, he made bcat. If it's okay can I send you friend request on discord. Let me know. Thanks
Sorry for a late reply, but my notifications are a little wild since many UCP migrations. I would have advised contacting Twisted first anyway, so this went good. And yes, you can send me a request and contact me there
Hello. I am one of the admins from Ahiru no Sora fandom.
I saw your message to Twisted (Bureaucrat) informing you that he has been inactive for more than a month. I am the only one currently active on the website. You can make changes on the main page of the website that you requested to him.
Good time of the day, it appears that when this page is named as "Detroit: Become Human" an error appears that prevents it from getting renamed or makes "Detroit:" part disappear. Right now it uses cyrillic "O", but is there any other way to change the name?
I posted one comment (it didn’t break any rules, just sharing an opinion) on one of the articles, and then later noticed that I have been blocked from the Killing Stalking wiki till 2099. I got no reason nor a warning. Then I tried to ask about it and they removed my comment without giving any reply. Apparently this sort of thing has happened to other users aswell. I’m just wondering if there is anything that can be done about this.
Thank you for contacting me and bringing this to my attention. Right now, I investigated your ban and indeed, it's not justified, especially not anything until 2099. Your comments were not offensive towards other editors and were part of a discussion. I'll unban you and also investigate the other bans and contact the administrator.
Your ban and a couple of other bans that were not justified are gone. The majority of bans of IPs (the numbers people without usernames have) were justified, though, so they stayed (though shortened to weeks instead of years, because IPs change - shortened so that they don't affect random people due to IP changes). I reviewed all bans last night and agreed with the admin that lifting the unjustified ones is alright. They overreacted a bit while removing some disturbing contents from the comments.
I recently spoke with you on the Ajin wiki about adoption, as well as asking about the old wiki manager there. I understand a little bit about what a Wiki Manager does, and was wondering if there is a way to request a manager for a wiki. I have recently adopted the Sachi-iro no One Room wiki, and it has very few contributors. I want to make many changes and additions to the main page, more than I did as a regular user. But when I blog about the things I want to do, no one responds. Would a manager be able to advise me on how to proceed?
You want this to be a custom welcome message for new editors, yes? You just need to paste this to MediaWiki:Welcome-message-wall-user. I just did that for you. If something's wrong and doesn't work, let me know and I'll help again.
