Welcome, Steinninn, to Community Central!

We are a friendly community here; most of us are active on an individual wiki, and many of us are active on more than one.

If you're looking for help, use the Community Portal or Help Desk. For finding a helper or a staff, speaking your language, see the page Staff and Helpers by language. If your wiki needs something done, leave the details on the Volunteer Portal. If you need assistance from a member of staff, leave a message with one of the Community Team.

You can get live help from community members and staff in our IRC channel. There are also channels for larger Wikia and their communities. Here you can socialize and get to know your community!

If you have an idea for a new wiki, please let us know! Check out new wikis and see if any of them interest you. A directory of existing wikis is also available.

Finally, please keep an eye on the recent changes to see what the community is up to and to help revert spam and vandalism.

Enjoy! --Slade (msg) 16:37, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

The code which creates the depselect needs to be part of the requestactions() function below the one which creates the language list. The duplicate addonloadhook, inclusion of the WikiList, and also the duplicate queryString funcions also need to be removed. ~Dantman(talk) tricks May 16, 2007 @ 18:06 (UTC)

I can't edit the pages in the MediaWiki namespace of a wiki unless I have Sysop powers on the wiki in question. Unfortunately there is no GlobalSysop class as of yet. ~Dantman(talk) tricks May 16, 2007 @ 18:48 (UTC)
You can't de-sysop people. That takes staff intervention. But Listadmins isn't a good way to look for users anyways. You should make a Project:Administrators page on your wiki listing the active admins for the wiki. A page is a little more reliable because you can update it with things like if the admin is active, remove inactive admins from the list, and also note what they can't help with. ~Dantman(talk) tricks May 17, 2007 @ 19:57 (UTC)

Hej Steinninn, sorry for the delay. I've added a short reply there now. Greetings --rieke 14:25, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
