Hallo I am a Noobs. I have attached the picture I tried to upload to my page. Could you please help explain to me how I can get pictures saved on my computer and links I follow to appear on my page? I have tried and nearly became extict. Can one coment on Uncycloedia pages or just edit? How do you go about it if you want others to coment on your page?
Sorry for all the questions but rather sorry than dead.
Regards Uncyclopedia, there are certain restrictions for the first few days to prevent overt vandalism and such. After that, you will be to upload and put images on your page - long as they are not porn/violent.
Yes, there are about eighteen related entries at AllMusic.com, there are also about five entries at Pitchfork.com and multiple related pages at Wikipedia.com. Additionally, there are official "Flying Nun" related stores and bars in Europe and New Zealand, plus various artists have distributed material on major labels, for instance Straitjacket Fits, and others.
I'm actually not contributing any more 'articles' to Uncyclopedia, because two entries I made received feedback stating that they referred to things that didn't actually exist, whereas spending 3-5 seconds copy/pasting the reference word into Google would have revealed that the search words exist in over a hundred articles.
I have nothing further to add on this topic, thank you and goodbye.
Can you also provide a link or details on deleting my user account from Uncyclopedia.
Sorry if its a hassle, I can't find a link at the top of the page etc - as Wikia is a for-profit company I get the feeling there must be a simple 'delete account' button somewhere, similar to a city library account, Facebook etc
Romartus: It appears that I have incurred the wrath of Spike (who is based in the US). There was an article under the Oxford University entry for St Benet's Hall (Spike thinks it's a US style college dormitory - it's not) that was called Gay Dragons Hall and remained there for a long time (I was not the OP). An anonymous user deleted it. I restored it. Spike deleted it again. I restored it and explained in detail why I wanted it up and why it is funny. He thought it was homophobic (it really wasn't) and banned me. So, I tried to revive it modifying it to be less offensive many months later post-ban. Spike struck again and banned me yet again. This would be fine, but Spike has no interest or knowledge of the Oxford colleges. He is simply offended that I dared to post this again (under a new form). It is not a Vanity Project as almost anyone at Oxford would get the jokes. It is not an insider story to make my "dormitory mates" laugh, as Spike assumes. Anyway, I think this banning and entry deletion was unfair especially if you look at the other (often unfunny) college entries. I would ask for reconsideration and unbanning. I cant even reply to Spike. You could I suppose reply on my wall (jm3106jr) which I can read but not access.
I can restore it to your user page. There is a fine line between an article about a place no one has heard of (and therefore the jokes may have very limited appeal) and an article about somewhere that more people know about.
I edited a page on the Wikia, where I changed double-spaced letters to single-spaced, and also made some capitalization/formatting fixes. SPIKE then he reverted it and explained that some (like him) wrote with typewriters and preferred double-spacing. I said fine, then went back and edited the article again, this time without the spacing changes, but with the capitalization/formatting fixes. He blocked me for TWO WEEKS and said "Revert war, you lose", despite the fact that I didn't do anything he told me not to do.
I know that editing FAs is wrong, and I stopped doing that, but it seems that every time I make even the smallest edit now (for example, changing the spelling of a word because the book is American in origin), he blocks me. Can you do something about this?
It's been a while since i was been banned from Wikia. Could you possibly ask Spike to give me another chance? I really would like to go back and fix the (admittedly poor) edits I made to the Barack Obama article.
Also, in case you're wondering, I didn't create this new account to ban evade. I created it because I decided to close my old account because I was tired of Wikia, then reconsidered after a while.
Which articles were those? Articles are removed if they are nominated to be deleted and reach a negative health of 4 or more. They can be removed also if the articles are cyberbullying or vandalism by an admin.
Per above, in the expanse of 11 years a lot could change: rules and policies may have been introduced that require those pages to be removed, or that lack of constant updating and maintenance leads them to be outdated and poor quality. You can discuss with the local administration to get the pages reverted, however. Good luck.
Today I joined so I can become a productive member of Uncyclopedia. I especially like the Peter Paul Reubens page you worked on. To let the rick of justice roll, I thereby present you Electrified Mocha Chinchilla's offensive remark to you. The link is Campaign pic8.png. If you take offense, Remember, I take pride in cleaning the community. If not, I'm sorry to be a newb.
