    • ok i would appreciate if someone could unblock me on killer bean wiki though

    • Hello!! So Noreplyz isn't the one who blocked you, so he can't unblock you. You should contact the user who blocked you.

    • LordTenebrous2 is the admin on Killer Bean Wiki who blocked you. Please contact him directly via his message wall here on Community Central (no need to contact Fandom Staff).

    • Hi PLSnotme101, I've already told you that I don't really buy your version of the story due to the fact that you vandalised multiple times using 2 different accounts (which isn't allowed in the first place). I might discuss this situation with the other admins on Killer Bean Wiki, but I personally don't think that your 1 month ban will be lifted.

  • I noticed you changed spelling of a word that is still deemed correct in multiple countries. In many fandom communities both British and American spellings are allowed and editing just to fix to another user's preference is nit picking and discouraged because another user could come back and change it to their country of origins correction of spelling (possible instigation for editing wars).

    Does this mean Fandom openly stands on only the American spelling and disregards other regions versions as incorrect? Essentially, meaning Fandom is not international/globally friendly after all. Or just chooses to have their main wiki (CC) American based due to the headquarters being logistically located in America.

  • Hi. I have another question that makes my curious and slightly concerns me.

    So recently, I have gotten the knowledge that there are unpaid employee roles (such as SOAP) from scanning in some of the staff's message walls (I hope it doesn't count as "trying to get private info"). I have then realised that not paying employees is illegal, is it not? So....not trying to accuse fandom of breaking the law, but is fandom just not aware of this, or does this not count as employing people without pay?

    • Hey there, yes there are many volunteers on Fandom, and there is generally a clear line between volunteers and employed Staff. Staff are paid, either have contracted hours or work part time/full time, and receive benefits required by American law.

      Volunteers don't have a set schedule or set number of hours, and they are all willing to spend their time for free to help out on Fandom. There's generally no requirement to actually do work, though if people are inactive for long they can be removed from the volunteer role.

      We basically do it because we either find some benefit from doing it (for example, I build tools for volunteer teams to make their lives easier - and this helps me work on fun side projects and build my coding knowledge) - or they enjoy the community and want to give back to them, more than just from editing or being an admin.

    The user Freight88 is an IP-spamming sockpuppet who exists only to be rude to me, due to something that happened (and was resolved) two years ago, making his extremely vindictive. Please ban him.

  • Can I please become an admin and bureacrat on the Bravelands Wiki, Watership Down wiki and The Adventures of Puss in Boots Wiki?

    The admins are inactive on the Braveland wiki and the Watership Down Wiki. The admin on the adventures of Puss in Boots wiki is still sometimes active, but she doesn't do anything to the wiki, and is not friendly at all. I've already tried adopting the wiki's, but I couldn't publish 2 of them, and the one I could bublish, I never got an answer from. So can you please make me an admin there, or link me to someone who can do it?

    • We're already getting along better on the Puss in Boots wiki, The admin on the Braveland wiki came back and gave me admin and bureacrat rights, and I saw that one of the active users on the Watership Down wiki is a content moderator, so I can ask her to delete pages if one has to be deleted.

      Also, can a content moderator give any moderator rights to other users?

    • No they can't.

  • hi i need help  i made my own wiki but how do i make my user name a neon glowing colored font??

      Loading editor
    • Hi! Not Noreplyz's, but I think I can help with this one :) Changing your username color is something that's done in MediaWiki:Common.css. Change the #color to whatever color-hex codes that you want it to be (the current color codes are a light neon blue).

      The code is as follows:

      a[href$=":Softmilk"],
      a[href$="/Softmilk"] {
      color: #C3F9F6 !important;
      text-shadow: 0 0 1px #42B5C9, 0 0 1px #42B5C9, 0 0 1px #42B5C9, 0 0 1px #42B5C9, 0 0 1px #42B5C9 !important;
      	font-weight: bold !important;
      	font-family: Arial;
      }

    • where do i put it in?

  • Hello Noreplyz. I'm nomal Fandom user. I have a question about the message wall. How can I edit my Message wall page? I found your massage wall saying "Good day! What's up?". But I cannot understand how to do that.

      Loading editor
    • Hello! I'm not Noreplyz but I can help you out with this one!

      On Legacy wikis (which is really just Community Central, and the dev wiki, and very few others), you can go to Message Wall Greeting:JupsZzz and whatever you put there will appear at the top of your message wall.

      This feature is not currently available for UCP wikis, which is what all wikis including this one will end up on, but there is a dev script for it if you wanted to add it to your own wiki.

  • This is another comment I have for you!

    I read on your blog about how to avoiding burnout on your wiki, and I wanted to ask you if this is a good way. So, the wiki I own, is mainly for my club and events. I mostly work on the wiki, but I also have friends and members of my club that help me! They help with posts, updates, new and edit pages, etc. Is this still counting as I am working too much on the wiki, or is this a good way and I am not doing everything myself? I have asked my friends/members if they are sure they want to help out, and they said that they like helping and it's fun for them, so I let them help me out!

    Does this still count as working too much on my club wiki? Or is it good to have help in this case?

    • It's good to let them help out - it means that you're sharing the workload between you and the others (which is great!)

        Loading editor
    • Okay, thank you, I just wanted to make sure that it's a good idea and way to work together and just wanted to make sure it wasn't me doing everything myself. Thanks :)
