I've been tagging Wikiawrider for at least a few weeks now, and given that I've gotten no response from him and neither of you are terribly active around the Far Cry wikia, I'm resorting to coming here to see if I can get a hold of you.
You two are the only sysops/admins on the site, and I seem to be the only regularly active b-crat left. I lack even the basic permissions to delete files or pages, as only admins have that ability.
I asked Wikiawrider before about adding me to the admin team or finding a way to give b-crat ranks the delete permission, and got absolutely no response at any point. I'd prefer not to apply for an adoption request just to get the delete permissions, but I've exhausted all my known options in the order of action before I do that.
Given that I'm always active on the wiki, I have prior experience as a sysop/admin on a few wikias, and for the most part I'm the one also maintaining and creating the template systems, I could easily fill in as an admin.
If I don't hear from either of you in the next week or so, I'll file the adoption request myself.
Apparently I was somehow able to give myself the admin permissions as a b-crat myself. I'm not sure how, but I'm going to do my job now that I can clean out some of that massive backlog of spam and chaff images & files that have been built up.
I have a feeling it was because of my roundabout way of renaming pages I did few times before I realized I had the ability to actually rename them. It's a bad habit I picked up from a few other Wikia sites that don't allow normal users to rename pages directly, and I didn't notice I had that ability until after I had move-renamed a few pages.
I'd like to continue editing the site, as data collection and wiki editing is one of my hobbies as a programmer.
I'm a bureaucrat and admin on several other wikia sites, so believe me when I say no harm was truly intended.
Anyway, thanks for taking care of this. As I said, at most anything I might have done in error was done at the worst in a "Good Faith" edit.

Another thing I was thinking of doing was trying to make a sort of "style guide" article for reference that we could all refer to in order to make all the pages standardized. I didn't want to do it entirely of my own volition, as I wanted to run it by you guys first.

I have three internet connections in my house, and it automatically swaps to the others depending on speed/load. I assume Wikia's automated system assumed I was trying to circumvent the block.
One of the admins at Watch Dogs was looking for bcrat rights recently. Chris6d has been an excellent admin and wanted to be promoted to bcrat to have more control over the wiki for the new launch of the game.

RainingPain17 is the only active admin on the Watch Dogs Wiki. Now that Watch Dogs 2 is announced, that wiki's growing. The wiki has entered a phase in its life that brings a lot of attention to it.
This attention is a very good thing, and the wiki will grow an extreme amount in the coming months. However, with this phase comes vandalism. LOTS of it. I have already reverted some acts of vandalism today and yesterday, and there have been at least 10 acts of vandalism in the past few days. There was an act of vandalism that went unnoticed before but I undid it.
Point is, the condition of the staff on the Watch Dogs Wiki isn't in the ideal condition when the wiki is in this phase. We need at least two active admins during this time, and we only have one. The others are semi-active, which is bad. I am one of the most active users on the Watch Dogs Wiki. This is why I, Chris6d, seriously propose to become the next admin. Some people just want to be admin for the fun of it, but this is not me.
I will become admin to bring this wiki to the top and bring justice to the vandals. I will also cleanup the wiki further and adjust it to mint condition. I will unconstructive edits when the other users aren't around, and confront the vandals that arise at dark. I will protect the Watch Dogs Wiki with the good users, and do what it takes to bring it to the top. We will fight the big fight.
He's usually inactive there, so he probably won't answer. Besides, Community Central is a central point of Wikia where almost all users answer. I already asked him here, so I don't think I should ask again, a second time. I'll just wait for a reply.

I see you're kind of a jack of all trades when it comes to wikis. Me and two other users are currently editing at an offshoot Batman: Arkham wiki, in an attempt to create a more refined and definitive version of the lesser, more rudimentary Arkham Wikia.
