If you are here to contest a block, you may want to seriously reconsider your actions first as generally a legitimate policy violation block placed won't be removed. If your edit was caught by abusefilter, leave a message on the wiki and just add a few spaces to prevent the filter tripping or wrap it in nowiki tags.

  • Hi, my name is Stemadaca4977, forced to use another account because you had me FROZEN/BLOCKED. Just letting you know you got the wrong individual. All I did was erase the information on that stupid "Why Manny wants to Kill Ice Age Baby" page because it had no reason being there and I didn't have the ability to delete said page. I saw a few others related to that on other wikias and likely posted by the same idiot. You mind unlocking me please? You can check what i've done and I only have one contribution, and I even posted "Don't be an idiot and post this kind of stupid thing" as the reason why I erased the content.

  • Hello, I'm Ice Age fan and since you can not edit being anonymous, i wanted to recommend that Carl's species is an embolotherium, Crash and Eddie are Didelphodon, The Condor are posibbly Aiolornis, of Sid type as Nothrotheriops and the Hippo who appeared in Ice Age 2: Videogame it is possible that belongs to these three types of the ancestors of the animal: Archaeopotamus, Amynodontidae and Desmostylus Hesperus (the latter is very similar to said Hippo).

    • Is possible that the Oxen are not of the species already known in the present, but belong to the Euceratherium and Buck can be related to Potamotherium or Ekorus, Shangri Llama is probably as Protolabis, Fast Tony is Pampatherium or maybe Holmesina, The Molehog and Louis as Fruitafossor, The Gazelle is Osbornoceros osborni or Gazella harmonae, The pirahnas probably are Megapiranha, the Small Crab as an Avitelmessus, The Beaver as probably an Ceratogaulus, The elk as Megaloceros or Eucladoceros, Shira probably as Smilodon Fatalis or Smilodon Populator.

About what was said above about Crash and Eddie, they could also be Eomaia.

    • In the first videogame appeared several bosses as they were a giant snake (Titanoboa), giant bird (Argentavis), the two giant glyptos are possibly inspired in Panochthus or Glyptotherium and the rhino enemy found in the levels i have no idea what they are, since I do not know of anyone who has a horn on his forehead and two others on his nose like a brontotherium.

    • The fact you got into argument with David at ice age and your behavior tells me sock. Staff already said I don't have to believe you. Checkuser established you share IP. You will have to prove these are not Diego. I have permission from staff to place those blocks. If anyone interference, that was you multiple times. We are done and Diego is permanently banned. You are ban evading on this wiki.

  • Hello Nerfmaster8, I saw you wrote on my Message Wall, but for some strange reason I'm not able to answer you, so I thought to contact you here.

Now, I never tried to add the categories "antagonists" or "villains", because I understood that this kind of categories can often trigger edit wars, the edits that I tried to do were on Rudy's page, deleting the category "Presumably Deceased characters", on Diego's page (I don't rember what I wanted to do), and on the thread on your message wall, replying you. None of these edits was correlated to the said categories, but looking at the abuse log, which I just now noticed the existence, it would seem the contrary but trust me, I didn't do it. Did I do something wrong? The reason for which I tried so many times doing the edits it's that I thought it was a problem of my computer or of the Wiki.

    • huh that's weird, i see that logs indicate the same. you replaced potentially deceased characters with cameo characters. that shouldn't trip the filter. i'll check it out later, until i update don't edit involving categories.

Pardon me for the intrusion, but Learnedhand41, Nerfmaster doesn't have to unblock you, let alone respond to you (but by the looks of his message wall greeting, he won't likely respond to you). And, respectfully speaking, you will need more than a "Unblock me please" to even have him consider to unblock you. If anything, you tried to adopt the wiki twice even though really you wouldn't have gained admin rights because the current admins were active. And it all started because they didn't agree with you that the "Dino-birds belonged in the herd". You have violated any reliability, have been blocked before, and shown you only want to be in control to force other people to your ideas.

  • I've been trying to revert to the last revision from July of this year, because all later edits are incorrect, since he did die.

But I can't seem to correct the information or remove the incorrect information without triggering the abuse filter.

I tried to contact you on your message wall on the said wiki, but errors kept occurring while trying to publish, so I was forced to message you here instead.

    • Because I didn't try making the exact same edit each time. I tried making a slightly different edit each time. But Soto should be listed as deceased because it's true.

I still can't leave any messages on your message wall there, nor can I edit. It's as if an abuse filter has been placed that's preventing me from editing entirely.

Its a bit iffy to drop the account names for Wikia engineers who have done commits to this idiotic project. I have no clue whether its a "wizard-with-errant-spell" or "dark-warlock-evil-spell" kinda situation on their behalf, though I 100% agree that the SEOCrossLink thing is out of order and is way too blunt a method of "encouraging" cross-wiki linkage.

This scheme kinda damages Wikia's credibility as Google will identify this as an artificial link-building scheme. I would go tell them and report this...if I wasn't under the yoke of running a wikia and thus likely to take the brunt of the damage on a local/subdomain level.

Mainly because as Google knows, sites who get automated links don't deserve them.

    • yes, it is iffy to call out who but unfortunately staff don't bother to take action unless these sorts of things are placed in the public eye. their entire github is public, staff don't care if we dig around. if they did, it would be a private thing. someone already tried using SC and was told it was a test and nothing more yet DuckSoup actually provided a bit more...making a public announcement on something staff tried to hide in the shadows forces them to defend it, trying to use SC doesn't work. I learned this after my other blog calling out vanguard and after that caused that behavior to terminate, this is apparently the only way to hold them accountable.

I'm aware Google is going to hammer sitewide but at the same time this was done hidden. This was originally found out on the unofficial discord channel.

    • Ask SEOkitten about it, try to strike a balance between "What the heck?" and "Is there a way something like this can actually help?" and maybe she will respond positively.

Which Discord channel? I've only been to some animanga ones and the gaming one.

    • at this stage, if this wasn't hidden by staff then I would be asking SEOkitten...last time, I informed SEOkitten to write blogs relevant to SEO rather than somebody else. i'm highly considering to report them for this, especially if they force it after this so called "test run". strange how options are only "sell or buy links" then "additional info". nothing for automated inserts...

    • These are the sort of links Google would approve of as natural links:

      • Links in articles and navigation to other subdomain/wiki-specific links.
      • A limited selection of advertisement links and any natural links to the parent domain.
      • Natural links in articles that go to other domains - it is blatantly obvious when this is the case, like with cultural references to stuff outside the wiki's scope.

And then there's randomly injected links that are put in outside of their contextual merit.

I think Google treats independent wikis as different domains though they are different subdomains, its interesting to wrap my head around it actually.

  • I just imported LightBlock and MessageBlock in my personal global JS but for some reason it does not work except when I have to import the script in the JS console through Inspect Element. Think you might help me? Thanks!

    • so i tested your global.js and can confirm the chat scripts don't work. i have no idea why, honest.

that being said, any idea if the following would be conflicting? i don't use most of yours, these are the ones i didn't check. my global.js works fine, you are free to test it out. also importArticles, last script should not have a "comma".

  • This is a very good blog, and a well deserved highlight! Thanks for sharing :)

One suggestion for the future, this is also a very long blog. Well over 1500 words! remember you can split a topic into two or more blogs, which will make it easier to read. You would also be able to post them over a couple of days, giving a nice spread to your blog

Just something to think about :) Congratulations again
