Hi MtaA I am MSMMario25, I am blocked for no reason, I did not do anything. I am innocent. I was just being a helpful, nice and supportive user on the other wikis. Please contact the VSTF team to unblock me. Also I was not responsible for the unexpected spamming it could've randomly happened elsewhere on my account or so. Also I am not responsible for anything else (like insulting, harassment etc.) elsewhere on wikis.
Hello, I am a bureaucrat on the Kirby Wiki, and I would like an IP check on a user. Recently, an editor named GunPowderHell has started editing the wiki. This user has edited similar content to another user named AnnieCat10 and AnnieCat07; I assume both of these accounts are from the same user given the near identical names, among other things. I'm brought to believe GunPowderHell is a sock puppet account under the consideration that the AnnieCat07 account was improperly renamed to "GunPowderLove" via a page rename instead of a proper account rename. Both of the AnnieCat user accounts have been blocked, and as such, it would be important to block the GunPowderHell account, if it is in fact the same user, to prevent any more potential issues.
I am new to editing (although i use fandoms too much) and I like to make translations. Recently, while trying to figure out how to translate a fandom(Last Day On Earth:Survival) I got stuck with a part: How can I do this? By opening a separate one or messaging the administrator? I am kinda new to editing and I didn't figure out how to make themes etc. yet. But Fandom University seems useful, so I may figure it out soon.
Also I saw there is no Community Central of Turkey, is there anything I can do for that? (I am a translator myself, and worked in some volunteered projects before) There isn't enough useful things in Turkish, and at least, I want to do something.
I am skipping IVT part because I did read the board and understood that a language must have enough power for being supported by IVT. But I am also interested in it.
Help pages as well as FANDOM university should help you find out how to make themes and give a helping hand with editing best practices.
In order to have a community central for the Turkish user base, we would need to see a further increase of pageviews to Turkish wikis. However, as you have expressed interest in improving the situation for TR users, here's what we could do:
I created an unofficialtr.community - please understand we can't make it official until we have enough traffic and regular updates there. The reason I went ahead and created it however, is so that you have the chance of localizing help pages into Turkish. This is a task that can be done even without having a supported community central. If we reach a decent amount of pages, we can discuss enabling the pages for all TR wikis (shared help).
I am currently discussing whether it would be possible to clear the way for enabling interface localization into Turkish.
If you are interested in long-term helping, we can also get in touch via email and discuss ways to keep in touch about localization.
So I saw the wikia. I am a little bit confused about where to start-I think I will be translating help articles and somehow structure them. I am now looking around the original structure and trying to figure out advanced things. Of course I can't do all of these translations alone, but I will try my best to do as many as I can. So I think I will be able to do this in long-term too. Also I have to share this wikia to get contributors, right? I am kindof confused here too, but I think I will figure it out.
If you want to create a local version of an English wiki, go to http://www.wikia.com/Special:CreateNewWiki and select the language you would like to create the wiki in. It is advised that you either speak the language you create the wiki in yourself or have a trustworthy user in your community who can handle the localized wiki.
