Actually unbelievable. I'm permanently blocked in the Danganronpa Fandom - without any warning or feedback - and unable to use neither my message wall not yours in DR Fandom to contact you about this, so I have to resort to using this. And my account creation is disabled? Why are you this intent on giving me little chance to reason things out? Sure it's one thing that I was blocked for not creating a civil conversation (as if I was given a chance to do anyway - I initially tried to make a constructive conversation on the topic at matter and the admin just simply dismisses it for whatever reason) but the fact that you didn't even take consideration the latest link that I sent in the talk page really shows that you were just intent on keeping the main article page locked just to spite the person who tried to find a source to keep the article updated. You can't just dismiss or ignore a source on the basis of "this rude person sent it to you" and delete the entire talk page as if the discussion never existed. That's not how you're supposed to look at sources. And I didn't even overtly insult or offend anyone, either, so why again am I given such a huge block? I wanted to contribute more to the Fandom and being shot down like this goes against my intention. No matter what, I somehow still want to believe that you are actually reasonable, so I wish to resolve things with you (privately works too) if you're willing to be cooperative, comprehensive, and to not give in to bias.
How was I rude as hell? Did I swear? Did I yell? Did I attack or threaten specific human beings? Did I show signs of racism, sexism, ableism, or other kinds of discrimination towards groups of people based on inherent traits? All I did was made a comment on how sources are checked in the wiki, without mentioning anyone and their attributes. If you think that's on par with actual threats towards a person, please rethink this. In this page , it says "Admins are advised to discuss the matter with the user first, warning them about the consequences of their behavior and blocking if the warning has no effect," which you did not, and instead unnecessarily permanantly block me from the entire wiki. I read the info on Bannable Offenses in the wiki, and I have not done anywhere close to what is listed that deserve a immediate permanent block with no warning. Sure my comment was not civil and rather immature and I apologize for not being mature about it, but again, that's what ticks the mark for an immediate permanent ban? I expect a more resonable action out of this. I'm hoping you're willing to help me to at least reduce the block to a reasonable amount of time; otherwise I will reach for a resolution elsewhere.
I hope you're aware FANDOM and its staff does not get involved in situations such as this. They defer to the staff of the wiki in question, and only involve themselves when mods are showcasing egregious abuses of power, which I have not done. You were rude, belligerent, and overall just a jackass for no feasible reason. For literally a voice actor credit. Here and here are FANDOM's pages on the matter.
And since you like quoting rules and guidelines at me, here's Danganronpa Wiki's: "The length of the block, or in some cases permanent ban, will depend on the severity of the offense. Blockable offenses include, but are not limited to:" and "It should not be assumed that just because a rule is not specifically listed in our guidelines, it is not potentially a warnable or bannable offense."
So, judgement on the matter of a block (or a warning) and how long it is, can be up to my best judgement depending on what the editor in question did, even if its not listed in the guidelines. You being unpleasant over a minor issue is what resulted in a permanent block, which will be staying.
Man, she got you too? Here's to you learning the hard way how that place is run. By that point it's just best to move on elsewhere. That's what I did during the past month and never looked back from it. If you're not worth their time, they certainly ain't worth yours.
HI sorry to bug you again. But I have some questions about the wiki. #1 Why is there no comments? #2 Why no forums? #3 Why don't you guys have a discord server? I mean I would never gotten Myself blocked if there were forums. plus I heard that at one point there was everything listed above?
The answer to those three is basically they are tedious to moderate and add next to nothing on creating a healthy wiki. Since we're not paid for being an admin, the less we have to monitor, the easier our volunteer job is.
We never had comments active (at least in the years I've been in an admin) and we've never had an official Danganronpa Wiki Discord server. Forums are still there, but they are being phased out by FANDOM itself in place of discussions, but we won't be using those. The Danganronpa fandom has other places to discuss or share memes, the wiki isn't the place for it.
I don't really like memes that hate on characters personally, but that's a non-issue and not any reason why I gave you the warning. The block is infinite because your second image was just an attempt to mock me for trying to do my job as an admin. It was rude, immature, and not something I should have to deal with from any editors.
Take it slow and easy. No one is trying to rush you, Skalt.
Each step of the rendering is something I see as taking slow and steady which is what you certainly doing now.
I do hope though you take it at ease as I imagine handling multiple requests will act more like a burden to someone like you as there are people who can do rendering too and as such you should get some help from those people when it is needed.
Anyway this is off topic, but I do have some concerns.
Hello. Due to the high level of detail and so many tiny gaps where the white background is visible, it would be nearly impossible to remove every pixel of background so that the images looked as good as they do on those profile examples you linked. I tried to find the website where those profile pages exist, but could not. If you know the site, please link me to it. If we're lucky, those character images are separate transparent images being displayed on top of the background colors/textures, and using my browser's inspect tool, I can access those separate images.
If these don't have them, the only other option I know of is a considerably smaller rendered resolution that parts of the illustrations cut off from another part of some in-game files. But with the amount of work it would be, I would not feel comfortable requesting so much work from volunteers.
Unfortunately, none of those sites have an accessible, separate image that is transparent (example). For Sakura, the best transparent image I could find online is here at the Polish Danganronpa Wiki. The transparent version of Leon that your wiki is currently using is the best transparent image of Leon that I could find.
