My apologies for disturbing your evening but I thought & the other user should seriously see the evidence behind these 2 banned users who are not thinking straight with this hateful campaign against across the wiki community all over the idea of forcing me to unblock them so they can stir trouble again.
Apologies, I didn't mean to come across as taking sides.
In most cases of a "big, bad, evil admin", the person complaining almost always was in the wrong ... however getting involved is very messy, and I find 9/10 times they won't stop until someone agrees with them. They rarely ever want an objective opinion, but just want validation of their perspective. The quickest and easiest way to end matters is to tell them to appeal to staff, especially with current blocking policies bring what they are.
I still don't intend to get involved, and I'm still not going to look at links or take sides. In my experience, staff are very fair; if you're right and they have no leg to stand on, this will likely be nipped in the bud and they'll be told as much off the bat.
You should be aware spam goes against Community Central rules.
I'd advise against sending the same message to multiple people.
If you're looking for admins and editors, the best thing to do is find fandom related spaces based on that wiki's topic, and advertise there . . . examples: forums, Tumblr blogs, Facebook groups, Reddit threads, etc. - this will get your wiki out to a maximum audience, but of like-minded fans that would be able to actively contribute.
Hello, my name is B1bl1kal. & I wanted to apologize for scolding you without realizing you were trying to help me. & I'm sorry that Doom2018's harassing crap should never been your burden to carry.
I just wanted to let you know I was not feeding no trolls nor I did anything wrong. I just want this unwanted guy Doom2018 to go away since he has clearly been warned by many otherd to never bother them again on the account of his blatant & selfish misdeeds.
I hope you can forgive me & one day we reintroduce ourselves as friends, a fresh start, sir.
I didn't mean "feeding the trolls" as in an intentional act, but just that a lot of trolls and harassers here on Fandom are looking for reactions and attention. It doesn't always work, but sometimes a polite "do not speak to me" and starving them of attention can work wonders . . . even if you delete or close a thread (or they edit a post), staff can still see all posts. It means no evidence is lost.
If you post full replies to them, especially emotive ones, it tends to make them feel like they're getting what they want . . . a reaction and your attention. If they get no replies, they tend to get bored and weaken and move onto new targets. It can be a good strategy.
The contact Fandom Staff form is ideal, as it sends a support ticket to staff. It means the first available staff member sees it and will respond (whereas messaging staff here can be hit or miss, as some are on holiday, furloughed, sick, etc.) Staff have the power to globally block users, so if the person persistently breaks ToU, it is possible for them to be globally blocked or blocked on an IP level.
I do hope that staff can mediate and help in the matter.
I cannot be online all the time to answer questions.
I would have answered you, but I'm not staff or admin. I'm under no obligation to respond to users, and I refuse to answer someone that's so rude as to demand my attention, which is not entitled to you by any means. If you would like to ask nicely, I will answer.
I'm sorry, I had 2 agonizing months of dealing with more cleanup work &
God-awful sockpuppets/internet trolls since the Coronavirus outbreak began.
But next time, please stay out of my private conversations because I do not know you & you do not know me (introducing yourself first & apologizing for your barging would have been appreciative) & never ever barge in on other people's private messages ever again if they do not concern you, sir. I'm saying because that reply of yours to that thread not welcomed on my message wall @ all was not what anybody had in mind, & if I truly wanted your help, I would've asked for it.
Just please leave me alone for now, sir. Thank you.
1) This is a public forum; every single user can see your messages . . . this also means anyone can respond, and - if you've been on CC a while - you'll notice it's not uncommon for others to respond to others' conversations; heck, someone else did just that on this thread.
2) It was also good advice, as you were feeding the trolls and fanning the flames, and - if it is harassment as it seems - it's a potential ToU violation of that user and contacting staff is the best way to deal with matters.
tl;dr If you air your business in public, expect people to comment on it
It's like this ya see Hasele and Reid used to be friends and now they're not.
'Cause Al basically hectored him to the point where he basically wanted nothing to do with him.
I having been in the midst of the drama, have tried to talk Alhaxander out of leaving Reid alone. And he has, but he has taken it upon himself to make me the target of all his aggression. The truth is he's still mad at Reid and can't let it go.
As for that whole "pedophile" thing. I wasn't referring to Alhaxander, it was actually Tommypezmaster.
Granted I haven't seen him actually engage in said activities, but I feel he might have those tendencies seeing as he happens to be a fan of an anime known as Boku no Pico.
Okay, I admit I jump to conclusions, I admit it, I'm paranoid. I just don't want innocent people being tramautized by creeps. If I have offended anyone I have mentioned previously, I am genuinely sorry.
I can understand that drama must be frustrating, but - as an adult - you need to learn to remove yourself from drama that upsets you . . . this mean blocking problematic individuals on social media, and reporting people who harass you or break ToU.
I'm not going to get into a discussion about shota, but you can't accuse people of being "pedophiles"; if you have actual factual information that a child may be abused, it needs to be sent to Fandom (if it's on-site) or to the police (if it's off-site). It's an extreme accusation that could ruin a person's life, or at least impact their reputation; it's also potentially triggering, both to the individual, and to anyone reading your message.
On that note, calling people "disgusting" and insulting them, as well as name-calling them, is not appropriate. You could potentially be breaking ToU, but - regardless - you're creating a hostile environment and you should not be responding to potentially bad behaviour with worse behaviour. If someone upsets you, that is not cause to personally attack them.
Casper is partially right, a disability may be a reason, but it's not an excuse. If you can see a behaviour is wrong, you need to actively work on changing that behaviour. We all have issues, and I have disabilities myself, but the thing is that it's okay to go: "sorry, this is why I did that, and I'll change". After so many times of hearing that, though, it can ring hollow. It begins to sound like an excuse.
That being said, the aggressive language Casper uses is still inappropriate. You also used similar language, just earlier calling someone a pedophile too, and that's also inappropriate. You both need to step back when angry, and learn that personal attacks will only make your defence a little less stable (instead of one being in the wrong, both end up in the wrong).
You both need to leave each other alone and contact staff. You need to both leave links to prove your arguments, with as much detail as possible, and wait for staff to make a decision whether the other person is fine, needs to be warned, or something else.
AlHaxander wrote: I know what’s wrong: it’s my disability and I am aware of that because it keeps bothering me every time and I can’t take it anymore don’t you understand Cain I have a troubled past because of my disability and i already tried to explain to Reid007 that I was sorry and he has a disability except he doesn’t believe me
You need to send the relevant information to the wiki manager of the wikis, and to the administrators of the wikis to which there is no wiki manager. You will do this to their Community Central message walls. They will then consider what you say and make a decision. The decision they make is final.
My opinion is irrelevant.
Only the wiki managers and/or administrators of those wikis can unblock you.
The appropriate people are the wiki managers and/or administrators of the wikis that blocked you. I found you two links to such people in a previous reply, and you merely have to go to their message walls on Community Central. If you struggle, you can find them by the following link: x.fandom.com/Special:ListUsers (swap 'x' for the name of the wiki).
Just swap out your name for the administrator name.
The only way you should not contact them via Community Cental is if a) they have asked you not to do so, or b) staff have asked you not to do so . . . in which case, you may consider their word on your blocks final and there is no means to appeal these decisions, unless the user has broken ToU, in which case you need to instead use: contact Fandom Staff
Fortunately you are right, but I was just lucky that you told me that for me, but the problem, after I ask to submit a request to contact the staff of the Fandom, I do not know more where to go to find a solution to unblock myself from these damn blocking administrators, I can not choose where is the right box so that I can unblock myself, it is Getting Started, Account Management, Changes to a Wiki, Reporting Problems on Fandom, Protecting Yourself on Fandom or Other FAQs, but worst of all, there is a very tight password and I don't know what to do.
Listen to me, I'm not mad, but I'm right why I'm on Community Central, to warn you that on Idea WIki, I got blocked by Coolot, he's the one responsible for him blocked, while I'm quietly modifying my pages, but I don't like blocked users, it's ok, I know that we will organize ourselves in a simple way to unblock me on Fandom where I work like Idea Wiki, Villains Wiki, Villains Fanon, Idea Central, The Evil Wiki and Heroism Wiki, despite for a blocked user like me, we cannot send messages to help on local Fandom like Idea Wiki to prevent help, so I chose Community Central to come help for unlocking local Fandom where I work like Idea Wiki, Villains Wiki, Villains Fanon, Idea Central, The Evil Wiki and Heroism Wiki, tell Casper Cain that I'm not mad and you can tell that I'm right to say that I'm a good editor.
Idea Wiki, Villains Fanon, and Idea Central, seem to have no staff, even local admins; I'm not sure how you were thus able to get blocked, but you could always try to adopt the wikis.
The Evil Wiki appears not to exist.
You need to go to those first two links, and - on their message walls - politely explain your case in as much detail as possible; provide links and not screenshots to any evidence. If they unblock you, great. If they don't, then there is literally nothing else you can do and you will need to accept their final decision. No one else can help you here.
As a head's up, glancing through you seem to have appealed to Robin about the Villains wiki a few times . . . each time she said "no". I don't think you'll be getting back on the Villains wiki, but the Wiki Manager is a paid member of Fandom staff; they can mediate, offer advice, and judge if ToU have been broken. They will be impartial in the matter.
I am not crazy, I gave this answer so that I suffer on my favorites Fandom like Idea Wiki, Villains Wiki, The Evil Wiki, Heroism WIki, Villains Fanon and Idea Central where I am blocked by blocking administrators like Coolot1 and I am right to be wary of blocking administrators, I prefer that they leave me alone rather than blocking me !!!!
If they blocked you, they felt that they had reason.
I haven't time to go back and see what this is about, as it was a while ago and it's slipped my memory (being that I assumed it all over). I will just say that sometimes things are unfair, or they don't go our way . . . everyone on Community Central has been blocked at some point, or not had things go their way by local admins or global staff. It happens.
The important thing is that you calmly make your appeal; if you have done this, you simply have to accept their final decision and move onward. This will mean likely finding new wikis to which you can contribute, and who will appreciate your work, and abide by ToU in the process.
There's a wiki out there for you, I'm sure.
Sadly, these wikis you mention probably aren't them.
Every user deserves to be treated with respect, and - so long as he's respectful back - I'm willing to read his messages. In the past, even the seemingly most stubborn or trollish of users have been able to improve their behaviour and be valued members of their wikis, and everyone deserves a chance. On my wall, I see no harm in his messages.
If you have a problem with his messages, as I have seen elsewhere, and feel he has been spamming or harassing you, I would contact Fandom Staff. You should provide links to prove spam and harassment, including to messages on the forums and others walls, and explain why they are spam/harassment.
Staff are usually very willing to listen in such cases.
