First off, I'd like to thank you for being able to creaate a logo for me. But, down to business. I was thinking that the logo would use the Okami logo (the word "Okami" with a red sun+waves behind it), but have the word "WIKI" in brush-like text just below it. I am not sure how the whole logo-making process goes, so would you please e-mail a copy of it to me first, before I use it? I have a friend on the job too, and I want to compare the logos before choosing one to use. You can contact me at ' '. Thanks again. DarkSmasherElite 03:13, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

I've tried several ways to set the logo, but it just won't appear on the main page (and any other page, for that matter). How do you set it? Thanks in advance... 16:18, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Long time no talk (StarCraft) Edit

I'll collect some ideas from the other administrators and send them to you. Thanks.

I'm thinking something blue and/or space-related :)

PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) 23:12, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

In regards to a custom skin for the StarCraft Wiki, I agree with Psi, at least in terms of it being space related. Nothing too major in that the color in writing areas can remain the same, but more of something in the background, as I've found that different color links can be a bit confusing at times, such as the wikis for Diablo and Gears of War. (Hawki)

It think using the Beach skin as a baseline would work well. All the brown background (at the top) and the blue background (on the side and bottom) could be replaced with stars, while still leaving the pages with white backgrounds and black text. So now I have to go star background hunting :) PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) 22:49, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

Well, it's been a week, and I've had no new ideas. I could use a little help with this process. Thanks. PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) 22:44, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

I thought this might be good (it's the basic StarCraft space background). If so, I could cobble together something larger. Link: Space Skin. PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) 04:18, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Main Page RedesignEdit

Also, Meco suggested we could get some help designing the main page.

I was thinking we could use a graphical "table of contents", sort of like what they're using at the Terminator Wiki. PSH aka Kimera 757 (talk) 02:48, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Putting the survey up is perfectly acceptable. Thank you for asking. --Maverick King 20:13, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

survey Edit

Yes, that would be fine.--Reinhart77 21:13, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Word Template Edit

Hey JoePlay. I don't know if this is exactly your area of expertise, but do you think that you could make some kind of Word Template (that's what I call it, but I don't know the real name) for when I type up summaries on games (I write in the school paper on games in general, but now I'm just limiting it to Wii Games). I want it to be kind of like some type of border with a "WiiFolder" logo in the top left or right corner (I'd show you the logo, but I'd have to upload it; although, you could just check; the logo is in the top left corner). I'd like some type of template slightly similar in appearance to, but also to be slightly inspired by the natural blue and white colors of the Nintendo Wii. Do you think you could do something like that? If you can;t, I understand. MarioGalaxyMay Guthix be with you... 01:18, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Well, it looks pretty close to what I want, but what I mean is that I want a template for Microsoft Word. Well, can you slightly tweak it to make some kind of three-line border, with the image on the border (like, at the top left or right). Hope this isn't any trouble. MarioGalaxyMay Guthix be with you... 17:53, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
Sorry that it took me too long to respond. I was at school at the time, and now I'm my dad's restaurant. Anyways, OK, I understand, I can wait for the template. MarioGalaxyMay Guthix be with you... 21:42, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
Oh, but when you do get around to this, perhaps you should try making it on Pages (you have a Mac, right?), as that's what I heard that the template for our school paper was made from. OK, later! MarioGalaxyMay Guthix be with you... 22:06, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
Well, it is very close. All I see that's needed (don't worry, you don't have to keep working on it) is for the 3-line blue border to be connected on each corner (as in, it completely circles it). Thanks anyway. MarioGalaxyMay Guthix be with you... 00:10, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Survey Edit

Hi JoePlay. Just a quick note to say that adding the survey link on the Soulcalibur Wiki shouldn't pose any problems at all. Siegfriedschtauffen 19:52, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Saints Row Edit

Oh yes please, to be an Admin would be great. But it may take some time for me to get the main page fixed up with a custom skin. Aei-Kae-Aei 13:13, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

It's me, I Ross has put up a wikipedia linked picture of the logo that I want. It is on the main page right now. Is it too much for me to ask to change it over to that one? Also, over at the New Jersey Devils Wiki, I like to have the picture on the Wikipedia article on the New Jersey Devils with the New Jersey Devils Wiki underneath the picture. I know I'm asking to much for you to do but may I ask? Thanks again. Sundogs E-Wrestling Encyclopedia | Soap Operas Wiki 21:52, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Athletics Wiki Edit

Hey JoePlay, was told you'd be tinkering around with our CSS today. Thanks for the help there, it was a huge pain trying to create a new skin on our old site. If I understand correctly, there was a problem with our old skin (Iron Cross?) Is there anything I can do to fix it or do we need to use another skin? Also, how would I do that on here, as I am used to working right off the server, etc.? Reaper 00:49, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
