Long time no hear from! Where the heck have you been? Just wanted to see if you're still alive or not. LOL!
Not sure if you remember me from the WH40K Fanon Wiki. Just wanted to see if you were still around or wrote at all. If you're interested, we'd still love to host your excellent articles over on the WH40K Homebrew Wiki.
Our wiki is quickly approaching over 1,600 articles, and we've only been around since April 2018! Plus, we have a huge private discord community with over two hundred-plus members of like-minded, helpful and enthusiastic hobbyists and contributors.
So if you would like to join our all-inclusive, friendly, helpful and active community, I'd like to extend to you another invite. I can even migrate your articles over for you, once you give me the go-ahead. I just feel it's a shame that such a cool article is wasting away on a wiki that isn't very active anymore, and it's not being seen by the community at large.
We are also well known for our high-quality artwork that looks like the professional artwork, as seen in the Forge World 'Horus Heresy' and 'Imperial Armour' books. Your article really deserves some excellent artwork to accompany it. If you'd like to check out some excellent examples of our artwork you can take a look here:
Glad to hear from you bud. I understand..well, we'll be here if you ever want to get back into it. Primarily, I just wanted to know if we could have your permission to host your articles on the WH40K Homebrew Wiki? You can host them on both websites now, as the WH40K Fanon changed their rules about 'self-plagiarism', and have now allowed their users to host their articles on as many wikis as they'd like.
Plus, I really want to re-add your missing artwork that was deleted (as I've much-improved since last you saw my work). Just let me know either way. You don't even have to migrate anything over..myself and my fellow mods can do it for you.
Thanks for replying to me..glad to hear your alive and kicking!
Haven't talked to you in awhile..just seeing how your doing with life and school. Hope all is well with you. Just wanted to let you know, the WH40K Homebrew Wiki is actually doing quite well, as we've finally exceeded over 1,500 articles with no end in sight, as we continue to grow and expand our user base every day. Come on by if you ever want to check us out. Take care man! Hope to see you lurking about if you ever get bored.
Well, sorry to hear that, as I've always really liked your ideas. Would love to tackle some more artwork for your Chapters, as myself and my bro (Achilles Prime) have really come a long way since we last talked. Well, if your ever feeling froggy and want to get back into it, someday, don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page. Just a shame no one gets to see your outstanding work collecting dust on that dying wiki. Hopefully, someday you'll be able to share it with a wider audience. Whenever you decide to make the change, just let me know and I'll be happy to assist.
Yeah, I get that. It's that time of year isn't it? So..about my offer...would you consider having me migrate and host your articles on the new wiki, so we can bring them out of the shadows and share them with the community? Plus, would love to add all the artwork back to them! You don't have to do a thing..I can migrate all of them over myself..just waiting to get the go-ahead from you.
I'll respect your wishes...just a shame NO ONE will get to see the artwork that originally accompanied these outstanding articles. I merely wanted to share their awesomeness with the 40K community-at-large. But if (and when) you decide to change your mind, just drop me a message whenever you'd like. I appreciate you getting back to me. Take care! And good luck with school (and life).
I know..long time no hear from. Sorry, this was the only means I had in contacting you since I was permanently banned from the WH40K Fanon Wiki. Since certain admins (whom shall not be named) banned me due to my disagreement over the fanon's stupid-ass, draconian image policy, I had no choice but to move on, and finally went and created my own homebrew wiki. If you're interested, we'd love to host your outstanding articles over on the WH40K Homebrew Wiki if your interested.
Our wiki is quickly approaching 500 articles, and we've only been around since April! Pretty good huh? Not bad for a wiki that's only been around five months, if I do say so myself..plus we have a huge private discord community with over two hundred-plus members of like-minded, helpful and enthusiastic hobbyists and contributors.
So if you would like to join and all-inclusive and helpful community, I'd like to extend to you an invite. I can even move your articles over for you, once you give me the go-ahead. Plus, I still have all your pics that were removed!
I look forward to talking to you. Just drop me a line on my talk page on the WH40K Homebrew wiki here.
Hmm weird. That is kind of unfair. I'm sorry about that, best thing to do is wait for Orange to communicate with you to see if he objects about you gaining adminship, and we can go from there. In hindsight, you probably should of did that blog on the Wiki you were trying to adopt.
That's true, but to Staff, it doesn't matter if there are not many users. If you're adopting, and do a blog on there, then its fair game for people to give their input. Yeah just wait on Orange and hopefully he can agree on you being an admin. The ideal situation is him promoting you.
If you need help, feel free to leave me a message; you may also want to visit the forums or join us on Chat. You can also check the staff blog to keep up-to-date with the latest news and events around Wikia.
