Regarding that wiki, I'm going to try and help smooth things over with the deletion issue. Next time you need to do something like this there, please contact me first. I'm not going to tell you what can and can't be deleted or such nonsense, but a little heads-up would help me start the "diplomatic process" sooner.
Thank you. I saw the message from the user who alerted you to this. (if you, as staff, could delete my message to them, that would be good.)
I understand just how concerning this content is. I've been worried about it for quite a while and argued with those admins back before I was promoted. They are not what this makes them seem-they really have no idea how creepy this stuff looks . I've discussed it with Ren and he and Tigerman will be trying to remove it all (there is much more). I too will be removing any content like this I find. Thanks.
I may need "backup" should some Continue to resist your authority, so if you could be able to remain on hand for a little while that would be great. Thank you.
Hi Chen! You helped me before with the Family Guy Wiki. I have another problem that is very serious. So serious, in fact, that I feel like I need to contact Staff right away. My IRL friend (another user) and I were looking at Jaden’s Adventures Wiki. (It’s an unconventional Wiki where people write stories instead of following the normal Wikipedia-like format.) Anyway someone wrote a story about a baby character touching and spanking an adult character’s backside (See: <https://jadensadventures.fandom.com/wiki/Dragonheart_Party#Dragon-Jeffrey.27s_gift>). We then got to looking at another story involving the same character (See: <https://jadensadventures.fandom.com/wiki/Summer_Fun_Stories#Story_8:_Sun.2C_Slaves_and_Stuck>), and this story involved two adults characters engaging in sex-like activities, and the baby character was still touching an adult character’s backside. I know that Wikis are supposed to be for the most part family-friendly unless the page is about adult topic, but we were extremely concerned that these stories involved strange-sounding activities with underage characters.
There's currently a user that continuously appears every day, creating several sockpuppet accounts that they use to leave messages on walls insulting the staff members and recently have started targeting others. The usernames of these accounts often include innapropriate language and degrading words towards their targets.
I was just wondering if you have any insight on what we could possibly do other than banning the innumerable sockpuppet accounts they continue to create daily?
Hi! Definitely. We can turn on the spam filter for you on the wiki so you can set up any words for blocks. We can also turn on registered users editing only if the users spams a lot with different IPs. Our VSTF and wiki manager can also help you monitor this wiki as well. Let me know what you think and we can take some actions from there.
We already have AbuseFilter, and filter that prevents users from post profanity and etc, which were recently updated, but the rate limit might be better done via wikifactory or etc, than abusefilter (also iirc we already have a ratelimit filter).
Hi! I have set up some restrictions. Newbies and IPs can only do 1 edit per minute and 1 move in 4 minutes. Please let me know if this works. If you want to set up extra limits, I can also set up a certain number of edits an account requires before it is autoconfirmed. But please remember, this will affect all new registered users. Have to think twice before you want to do this setup.
Once the sockpuppet fades away, let me know and I can remove these restrictions. :)
Hi Sir! I'm an admin of the rick and morty wikia/fandom page (rickipedia), I would like to know the difference of the said roles and how do i become a bureaucrat and or moderator at the same time? I see my fellow admins being 2 at the same time but im just showing to be an admin so I was just wondering though
I'm an administrator on the Endless Ocean Wikia, and I've noticed something odd: the Admin Dashboard is showing that our wiki has had 0 views for the past 3 days, since the 20th. Is this just a bug on the part of Wikia/Fandom, or is it an issue with our wikia? Me and my fellow editors are able to use it just fine with minimal issues. I'd appreciate some help in resolving this, if possible? Just that I'm concerned over if our Wiki is broken, is all.
Hi guys! Sorry about this and thanks for letting me know. I will talk to the team shortly and check if this is something we have been aware of and request a fix. You can also use Special:Contact to report bug issues.
Hi just want to let you know that the technical team was aware of this bug issue and the fix is happening. Once it's done, we will include it in the technical update here. Let me know if you have more questions. :)

Why fandom have blocked Wikia lyrics? I think that the lyrics of a song cannot, in any way, be considered obscene and censored. The lyric of a song is to be always considered artistic expression, protected by the constitution of any free country. But, if you want, you can use a "parental advisor". Blocking a whole wikia because it contains some lyrics that an administrator considers obscene is an absurdity. It would be like closing the internet because there are pornographic pages! Wikia lyrics should be immediately unlocked.
Since there are some lyrics that YOU consider obscene (and it is however an arbitrary judgment) I can no longer add lyrics from the Beatles, Elvis Costello or Caetano Veloso? This is totally crazy! It would be like saying that on the internet you can no longer talk about Martin Scorsese because there are some pages where someone write that Hitler was a good guy. It is something totally illogical and violent.
