Hey! I'm an admin on the Degrassi Wiki and one of the users is having issues with her username. This is the message she left me:
Hi! I have a quick question and I was wondering if you might be able to help.
I submitted a username change yesterday and it updated a few things, like my IP address and the name on my blog posts (the comments have been deleted from my blog posts too for some reason). But my comments are still showing up with my old username. I didn’t know if I did something wrong or if there was a glitch happening or what. It’s possible I just messed it up since I’m still fairly new to this lol, but I wanted to ask if you might know what’s happening or how I could fix it.
Hey Skeeromi, I'm not longer answering adoption requests for TV/Movies, we have two Wiki Managers answering them now, could you summit a new request? They will review the request and will answer. Thanks!
Hello. It's kinda late (sorry for that), but I wanted to talk to you about my adoption request. You mentioned that I had to get support from the active users of the community. I was wondering if there was any point to that in this case, as the actually active users (including myself) in the wiki are like five people, tops.
To be honest, it's not that I want the bureaucrat rights per se; I would just need them for this instance to make a certain user an admin to help in the wiki. Or would be simpler if I tell this user to request themself for admin rights? And if that were the case, where?
