Blacklist Cleanup

I'm doing some big cleanup of the blacklist.

• Things have been sorted
• Many redundancies have been removed
• All exact duplicates have been removed
• Many regexes have been compacted

I'm also introducing a few generalized regexes:

• No good domain consists of 3 or more numbers (no alphabetical characters) as it's base domain (*.base.tld) so theres a generalization for those.
• No good base domain ends in 7 or more numbers before the tld. So there's a generalization for those to.
• The words viagra, fuck, hentai, and porn have no business inside of any url. There is simply no valid reason for them that can't be countered with Use the white-list if you need it. Although the use of a \W is used on them to attempt to not match urls which have 2 words placed side by side which create those words and a false positive.
• The word sex is tricky to block because as a 3 letter word it's easily makes false positives, but generalizations that shouldn't add false positives are being added.

Thanks Jack - excellent. What about the user? While I have just been made a sysop on the Vim wiki, I know nothing about it yet. Our List users page does not list a user named Shiran009, but it doesn't list JohnBot either (my bot user which definitely does exist). Is there something I or you should do to terminate that user? --JohnBeckett 12:58, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Special:Listusers is filtered, it doesn't show all names in it. Since you're a sysop, you should see "Show All" link in w:c:vim:Special:Listusers (near the "Group" dropdown menu). Click it and some more names pop in.

Regarding the problem user: you can block him/her/it by using the page w:c:vim:Special:Blockip so that she/he/it cannot edit. Unfortunately MediaWiki software is built so that users cannot be deleted, but blocking the spammers solves a lot however. :) --Jack Phoenix _(Contact) 13:04, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

This is the second spam page from the same user (see Talk:Spam_Blacklist#Rf coaxial connector above). I can't see this user in w:c:vim:Special:Listusers even with 'Show all'. Why not?
