Google toolbar "vote"[]
Shouldn't there be something here about the Google Toolbar's "Vote" function? That allows you to give a minor boost to the PageRank. The toolbar also allows you to see each page's PageRank. Timeroot Talk • Contribs • Edit count 23:27, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
- Interesting - although that's not really an wiki-specific change. I'm not sure Google would be happy with us suggesting users using their tools that way. Kirkburn (talk) 11:53, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Disappearing link on Google[]
Hi. I'm an admin at the Ace Attorney Wiki, and I've been following the wiki's Google ranking for a while now. For a long time, it sat around the 40-60 range. However, one day, it suddenly shot up to one of the top spots, with only high-profile stuff like the official site, Wikipedia and Gamespot above it. A while after that, the link completely disappeared except for a link to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney somewhere in the 300s. Would anyone know what happened here? capefeather 14:34, September 1, 2009 (UTC)

Site under construction[]
Maybe it should be noted that the Open Directory has a policy agaisnt de submiting of "Site under construction" wich have "broken links". I think that red links could be considered as broken by the category maintainer on dmoz. Sure it was said ealier in the article to try reaching about 50 articles but reading this a founder could want to submit "too early". If i take an example, if i submit "my" 3D Wikia, i'm almost certain there's a chance that it get rejected even if it has 118 articles. I think i'll try just to test this. — TulipVorlax 02:17, November 30, 2009 (UTC)
other sites[]
Other than IMDB and Google (don't have accounts at tv.com or tvguide), are there any sites that I can submit URL's like this one I can submit it too?--ScratteLover2 (Talk • Contributions • My new forum Please create an account and be an active member there) 23:58, August 27, 2010 (UTC)

This really needs to be updated. It dates back to Monobook as the default.

Thank you for the info. Thanks to that, our wiki became #8 on Google Philippines when typing Prime Numbers Wiki!
