Disable my redirect to Wiki Activity[]
What is this? I see it in my preferences and it's checked, but I have no idea what it does. A quick search here and on Google didn't turn anything up. Someone who knows should describe it here (on the help page). - dcljr (talk) 09:28, December 30, 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, When you visit a wiki, you are automatically redirected to the wiki activity page , rather than the main page. Unchecking that box leads you to just go to the main page. --Sarah (help forum | blog) 16:44, August 25, 2011 (UTC)
No access to preferences[]
Strange, I can't access my preferences despite being logged in. My name doesn't appear on the top right and so there is no drop-down menue I could enter to change any of my preference. Maybe it's because for a few days I have to use an operating system (Windows ME) or could it be browser?--Mr Mancala 07:18, August 25, 2011 (UTC)

Email confirmation problems[]
I've added a secount account for a wikia, and i've already added in username, password etc. I've used the same email and when i try and confirm my secound account, it refuses to work. What should I do? Should i use a new email for my 2nd account i just made or to keep re-trying the confimation of my secound account?
I've already tried 'confirming' by going onto my email and trying to add in the username and password. but it says it's an invalid operation-what does this mean? I mean, i even tried 'forgot your password' to see if that would work but it gives the same response. I can log in with the account (2nd) normally but it reminds me to confirm email. i don't want to risk loosing my account just because of my email failing to work...If anyone has any suggestions-please let me know-thanks.

Need to mention defaults[]

Missing editor prefs[]
The last 3 checkboxes @ special: preferences#mw-prefsection-editing/Editor are not documented:
- Use the wikitext mode inside the visual editor, instead of a different wikitext editor
- This cannot be flagged with Source Editor as preference.
- Temporarily disable the visual editor while it is in beta
- Enable the editing toolbar
- Removing this leaves just a basic text-input block as Source Editor.
