Logging in[]

There's mentioned in the help blog, and omitted here that I think definitely should be mentioned: changing the site to wikia.com. Neither this documentation nor the Wikipedia page mentions that (and this page also doesn't like to the blog). --Tupka²¹⁷ 18:34, January 9, 2015 (UTC)

Usage[]

Is not working. I'm following all the steps but whenever I try log in, it says "Check page failed to load. Check your internet is working and the wiki is online". I'm connected to the internet but the only thing I noticed wrong with my wikia is that it begins with "https", not "http" which I am forced to use. However, this shouldn't be a problem, should it? I've also tried making the account admin, as well as creating a check page. - Danielroxheaps 22:53, October 6, 2018 (UTC)

AutoWikiBrowser uses a graphical interface with buttons and menus and such, it does not require any coding or commands for basic use. However, knowledge of regex will help with some advanced tasks like complex find-and-replace.

My bot is not doing the editing (Recent Changes) [Resolved][]

Hello, I just figured out how to get AWB working again but now I am confused as to why my primary account (Bunai Di) is the one doing the editing instead of my flagged bot, User:Decembirth. See sandbox for example. -- Bunai Di ^(talk) 03:58, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

I believe I got it now. I signed into the bot account instead and generated a password. The wording on the Special page is confusing as it seems it was asking me for the name of the bot not what I would like to use as a password. Can't access AutoWikiBrowser[]

Bot tab[]

I'm not able to get the bot tab to show up to make automatic edits. The bot is enabled in the checkpage, and I've checked it's done correctly 'cause removing the bot name disables the bot from making edits. The bot is flagged as a bot by Fandom staff... and AWB still doesn't show the Bot tab. Anyone know what else I'm missing here? Horus-ra (talk) 22:13, 27 January 2023 (UTC)

Nevermind. Figured it out with Fandom support. Make sure you don't remove the comments when pasting the checkpage. They are required.

Login refusal[]
