I have done these things:

Welcome all visitors
Post messages on related web forums announcing your wiki
Sign up for an account on Squidoo and create a lens relating to your wiki.
WikiIndex Entry
Added the wiki to Google

I only have one regular contributor (Artyfowl) and one contributor who appeared never came back when I suggested some stuff on how to improve the article he created.

The second part is actually indirect, I only added a link to my wiki in my signature.

You can't make horse drink the water. Anyways, the topic of the wiki doesn't really make me want to post there. Its a tech type wiki and by default is about things like troubleshooting issues. Get over 100 articles and then get your wiki spotlighted : Wikia talk:Spotlights Devilmanozzy 18:45, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

The wiki is actually research-based. People do not need specialized qualifications to contribute. You can just research an article on Google then try to make the information turn into an article.

Anyways, I need at least 100 non-stub articles. 45% of my wiki are stubs (contains at least 8 sentences).

You complain of having 45% of pages with 8 sentences? On fr.guildwars 90% of pages only contain an infobox because we're only 3 regulars users. (But yeah, that still count as more than 8k pages.) — Tulip Vorlax 04:34, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

The contributor who never came back finally came back! How short should the article be in order to be considered a stub?
