It appears that most namespaces in the newer Answers wikis seem to lack edit buttons. This includes Templates, Forums, MediaWiki messages, Projects, Categories, and User talk pages. This could potentially apply to file pages too. I am not sure if you already found out about this by now, but I have yet to see it mentioned anywhere else. It has been mentioned somewhere, but for your or anybody's information: a workaround to edit pages anyway is by enabling Edit pages on double click (requires JavaScript) on the 'Edit' tab in your preferences if you haven't already done that. Then, double clicking anywhere on a button-less page gets you into editing mode. --BramTalk/IGW 22:52, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
You can use AnswersEditButton from the developers wiki in your global.js and it will add an edit button for you. Grunny (talk) 23:04, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
You can also install the Universal Edit Button --Ciencia Al Poder (talk) -WikiDex 17:56, May 26, 2010 (UTC)
