Is there a way to get the files of wikia which you can upload then install it to my site? I wish there was, it would be better then a subdomain (to me)

There are tons of free image hosting sites, why would you want to post it on wikia for the purpose of dropping it at your own site? http://bit.ly/oV591g
I'm asking if there is a zip file of wikia so I can have my wiki on my site on my host - Teratorn99 16:50, October 7, 2011 (UTC)
You can request a database dump in Special:Statistics, but it doesn't contain files. If I recall correctly there was an alternative, user-created script that allowed you to download files as well, but I can't remember who wrote it or where to find it. Sovq 17:00, October 7, 2011 (UTC)
Do you want just the contents of a wiki for offline browsing or the contents of the wiki and the Wikia wiki engine to run on your own machine? -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 7 Oct 2011 1:55 PM Pacific
Sovq probably means Pcj and his crew, who managed to get their images when they moved WoWwiki to WoWpedia. --IK Talk 13:43, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
There is a way, use this: http://absurdopedia net/wiki/%D0%A3%D1%87%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BA:Edward_Chernenko/MediaWikiDumper
Ah... Looks like wikia has... How should I say this... Made changes so we cannot link to this tool. So let's see how many tries I will need to get the link here...
