We would like to migrate a defunct mediawiki wiki to wikia. See here for details. We are however not sure how to do so. We have reached an an agreement to migrate the content with editors here and at the old site, and both use free licenses (CC/GFDL). There are several thousand pages to migrate, and it would be a chore to do it manually; I am aware there some automated/support soft has ben developed to facilitate transwiki/migration for Wikipedia and that it has been used to migrate pages to Wikia. - A while ago I left a message on http://shadowrun.wikia.com/wiki/User_talk:Angela since she edited the Shadowrun wiki pages a while ago. I now added an additional request for help there. Should I use a different mode of communication? Piotrus 22:53, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
