Hello.

I realize that this is probably something incredibly easy, but it is baffling me.

How do I find out the name of the main page of a wikia to make a link?

For instance, I am trying to link to the Inuyasha wikia's main page. However, I cannot figure out what the main page is actually called.

• [[w:c:inuyasha]] links to my user page, not the main page.
• [[w:c:inuyasha:main]] wants to make a new page.
• [[w:c:inuyasha:main page]] wants to make a new page.
• [[w:c:inuyasha:main_page]] wants to make a new page.
• [[w:c:inuyasha:Main page]] wants to make a new page.
• [[w:c:inuyasha:Main Page]] wants to make a new page.
• [[w:c:inuyasha:Main_Page]] wants to make a new page.

When I linked to the Ranma wikia's main page it was as simple as [[w:c:ranma:main page]] so I am guessing that this is something that can be set by someone. What I cannot figure out is how to find what it is set to for a link.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

[[w:c:wikiname (look in URL. It is the bit before .wikia:Page you want to link to]]. e.g. w:c:simpsons:Homer Simpson. User:Solar Dragon/Signature 21:13, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Also the link from your wiki logo (Wiki.png) in the upper left corner will almost always go to your main page. Main_Page usually works, but some wikis change the name of the main page (the Simspons Wikia uses Wikisimpsons as an example), so clicking the wiki logo usually is your best bet. -- Fandyllic (talk · contr) 3:32 PM PST 7 Jun 2010

In fact, [[w:c:inuyasha]] is supposed to go to the main page of the wiki just like w:c:fr.guildwars does.

When clicking that last link, if you see a "My Home" page, that is because in your preferencies it is set to go to My Home.

Thank you everyone. I guess that I didn't try all permutations of capitalizations, like I thought that I had. I also see how to find what the main page is titled by mousing over the main wikia graphic.
