There's something wrong on the Prison Break Wiki. Everytime I edit, it comes under the category Criminals or Company operatives. I think it comes, because I categorized the templates there. So can somebody fix for me it. It looks worse. Maybe it's a bug. By the way, the infoboxo looks different then it should be [1]. So can somebodoy help. It also get's the category Templates at pages. [2]. Also I got a big screen. How can I make a small screen? With which button?--Station7 06:01, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

Hi there. I'm new at wikis but here goes my help.
You are using several templates like "Char" and "Crim"; those templates have at the bottom:
<includeonly> </includeonly>
Try changing/removing that and other such lines that are at the bottom of the template.
Although I don't know why you don't want the character to go into that category... After all, the characters, from the point of view of morality and social behavior, are nothing more that thugs protected by an organization.
 :p I have no idea what your wiki is about.

No, the edit takes at several characters, who are not a company operative, this category. for example: roland glenn. He gets the category Company operative while I didn't edit it there. He was killed by a Company operative :) --Station7 15:56, November 2, 2010 (UTC)

Like I said, your page is using Template:Char
That template has at the bottom . That line makes ALL the pages that use the template be in the category "Company operatives".
If, like you say, not all characters are to be in that category then you have to remove that line or create a new template that is just like that one but without the .

If you want the template to be categorized (as opposed to the page that transcludes the template) then include the category inside <noinclude> . . . </noinclude> tags. For example, if the "Crim" template needs to be included in the "Criminals" category, then use the following tags: <noinclude></noinclude>. —User:GraemeMcRaetalk 17:58, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
The bottom half of your template is faulty with an openong <noinclude> at the top and a open <pre> tag at the top of the Usage section with no closing </pre> below the code section and no closing </noinclude> tag after it :-

|categorization= <!-- Company, Criminal, blank -->
|also known as=
|current status=
|first appearance=
|last appearance=
|Manner of Death=
|episode count=
|crime= <!-- Include all acquitted and secret crimes -->
|mate= <!-- Cell mate(s) ever had -->
|played by=
|foxriver7= <!-- yes or blank -->
|foxriver8= <!-- yes or blank -->
|Sona4= <!-- yes or blank -->
|Scyllateam= <!-- yes or blank -->
|ScyllaCardHolder= <!-- yes or blank -->

I find it easier to use the documentation subpage system & put template usage notes + template cats in a separate doc page with interwikis & then users can update them all without messing the template code up even if the template is protected.
Also Articles using this template appear to be designed to be categorised based on the data within the infobox in each article so the duplicate/extra categories on each page transcluding from the list in the usage section may be messing it up. (also note the usage notes has categorisation listed twice as well to add more chance of errors by the look of the above code section, along with using mixed capitalisation in parameters !!) - BulldozerD11 00:13, November 3, 2010 (UTC)
